Maximum Ride Fan Fiction
I couldn't breathe. Angel had told me that I would develop gills.
"You need to try harder" insisted Angel.
Angel is my mentor. She was a friend of my parents (Maximum and Fang). "I'm so tired, can't I take a break?"
"No" she said firmly. Angel is about 6'2 with blue eyes and curly blondish, gray hair. Oh and I forgot to tell you something. Angel and I have wings. So do the rest of the flock. They were Angel and my parents other friends. They all risked their lives for me. There was a big war between the flock and M-geeks and Angel was the only one who had survived. I am a girl, with very dark hair that is shoulder length. I have light brown eyes and white wings with black and brown specks on the tips.
"Do it again" Her voice was a hard as concrete. For some reason I felt and urge to try it again when I really, I mean REALLY didn't want to.
I dipped my head under one more time, and looked up to see Angel smiling down at me. She put her finger under the water and poked my neck. I did the same and felt bubbles coming out of my neck. I took a big gulp of water, and surprisingly this time I didn't choke!
"I did it!" I thought. "Yes you did! I'm so proud of you!" I heard, but the strange thing about it is that Angel's lips weren't moving.
"I know it is surprising but, um…..this is kinda hard to explain but, I can read minds and you will get mutations ju-"Her eyes went wide.
I looked down at my hands and I almost choked. My hands weren't there! I stood up but then they were there again.
"Wait stand very still and quiet" she ordered.
I stood still and looked down again and everything was gone.
