Warren chose to be amused when the… young man who had just walked into the Stop and Rob. He was wearing loose clothing. In fact his pants looked like they were about to fall off. He sported a Hello Kitty backpack and… a hot pink thong on his face.
Yes, Warren was going to be amused.
He wasn't really surprised when the kid pulled out a pellet gun. What did make Warren pause was the two by four with a nail in it.
"Gimme the money!" the kid shouted at Warren. He waved the two by four, seeming to forget he also had a pellet gun.
Warren stared at him. "What are you trying to do, son?"
The arming with the two by four lowered slightly. "Robbing you."
"I'm going to give you one chance to just turn around and walk back out the door."
"No!" The kid started to swing the two by four.
Warren growled and let his wolf show through his eyes.
The kid wet himself and he scrambled to get away. He tripped over his own feet and set the pellet gun off, breaking a few bottles of liquor. It only took him a few seconds to get the door open.
Warren sighed and cleaned up the mess of glass and alcohol.
Several hours later Billy, Warren's co-worker, came in for his shift. Warren was calmly reading behind the counter.
"Anything interesting happen?"
"Nope."
