Chapter2-Malfoy Manner.

Harry woke up, feeling weirder than normal. He had interrupted his friend while making out. He couldn't face Ron, but to his shock, Ron was right there in front of him. "Look, I'm really sorry. About yesterday. I-" Before he could continue though, Ron interjected. "Harry, Hermione is missing." he said and his eyes were red. "I'm sorry, What!?" Harry had not expected this. "She's missing, mate." he repeated, sourly. "How? When??" he asked, astonished. "They were looking for her. Dumbledore and McGonagall. Never found her. Guess what? Malfoy had to make an urgent trip home. He's a git. I'm sure he did something, I'll kill him." he added, forming a fist. Lavender burst in and climbed on Ron's back. "Hey Won, Won! She said, pressing her lips to his hair. Harry could tell that Lavender was the last person Ron wanted right now but he couldn't hurt her so he sprinted down to the common room with her, gripping his sweater for support. Harry at once put on some decent clothes and ran to Professor Dumbledore's office. He guessed the password to his surprise. it was Acid pops.

Outside the office, he heard muffled voices. "She is missing is what she is, Cornelius!" hissed McGonagall. "I am aware of that, Minerva. But we cannot risk it. He Who Must Not Be Named is back. What if he has-" Fudge was interrupted by McGonagall.

"Then we will get her back!" she snapped. He heard someone whispering but he couldn't make it out. But the door opened, suddenly. "It is wrong to eavesdrop, Potter. Even if it concerns your friend." Professor McGonagall said, acidly. Harry dropped his head. "Harry m'boy!" Cornelius Fudge said, merrier than ever. "Hello, Mr. Fudge."

he didn't know what to call him, his brain kept saying Minister but he no longer was one. Dumbledore was waiting for Harry. "Is it true, Professor? She's gone?" he asked, rapidly. "I am afraid so, Harry. Miss Granger is missing. She was last spotted in the Common Room." Dumbledore said. "No." the word came out before he could stop himself. "I found her, unconscious at the foot of the last flight of the stairs leading to the Common Room." he explained when he saw that Dumbledore was confused.

"Well l-, that changes things, a lot. Excuse me, Harry." he said, walking straight past him and out of the door. That day, Harry lay on his four poster, thinking of nothing but Hermione. Then, at once, his scar gave a stinging pain and then he was in a dark room. There was someone lying on the floor but Harry looked away, at the people standing in the dark. Their faces hidden.

"So, Bella..." Harry said, his voice, snake like. Voldemort like. "What is this?" he added. Pointing his wand with his long, spidery fingers at the body on the floor.

Someone bowed. "My Lord, this girl is the closest to Potter, Lord. She knows everything. He tells her everything." Bellatrix's voice cackled. Harry looked at the clump lying on the floor, bushy hair. Then he pointed his wand at Hermione and muttered under his breath 'Crucio' and a blood curdling scream filled the silence. 'What do you know?' Voldemort asked, with a slight hint of pleasure. Silence.

"I said, WHAT DO YOU KNOW???!!" voldemort bellowed. and used the cruciatus curse again. Silence again. "What a waste of time." he said as he began "Avada-" Hermione's voice echoed throughout saying 'Expelliarmus'. A huge jet of red light emerged from her wand and met with the killing curse. The impact was deafening. "Stupid Girl!" Harry felt challenged and he sneered. He raised his wand and again muttered the killing curse.

Hermione fought back with 'Stupefy'

"Finish the mudblood yourself, Bella.' Harry said and flew away.

Harry opened his eyes and saw the familiar common room. He then darted off to inform Dumbledore...
