It was a balmy, spring night and Jack Tripper couldn't sleep. His roomate, his friend, his soul sister who he would give anything to have incest with, was getting married the next day. Exactly twelve hours from now, eleven o'clock the morrow morning, she was going to become Janet Dawson. Now that was a name he was never going to get used to. She would always be sweet yet sensual Janet Wood. The girl he would have loved to have but would always have not. That was the way she wanted it. He had no choice but to respect her. That was how much he loved her, to not love her.

"Can't sleep huh?" Janet asks slumping on the couch next to him. Jack startles at the sight of her. He expected her to be sleeping,it was her wedding day tomorrow after all.

"Not really. Looks like you can't either."

"I think I got a case of the butterflies."

Jack chuckled a little at that statement. She always managed to be cute like that. Even on her worst days. He wraps his arm around her and kisses her cheek which makes Janet instictively hug Jack. Man, does she know when I need affection, Jack thought to himself. He dared not say it but she was making him hot. She was wearing a rather sexy pink nightdress that showed her cleavage. The thrill that would give him if he could just slide his finger down that fleshy borderline.

"Do you want some milk or something?" She asks breaking that hug.

"What?!" Jack exclaims jumping out of his seat.

"Jack," she says stroking his hair. "Are you sure you're okay? You sure are jittery or something."

"I'm okay," he gives her a reassuring pat on her naked shoulder. "Yeah, not milk, but I could definitely go for some water."

"Okay," she says getting up and walking away from the couch. "Water it is."

When she gets far enough away, Jack takes an oppurtunity to check her out. She always had that round, firm butt that he always admired. He wondered if she was wearing underwear or not. Maybe she was into g-strings?

What the hell was he thinking about? Jack takes a moment to slap himself upside the head. What are you doing? This is your friend that is getting married in the morning! She is not yours to lust over. She never was!

It's not long before she comes out of the swinging doors with two glasses filled to the brim with their beverages. A big grin on her face suggests that she knows nothing about the morality check going inside his head. Good! She hands him his water and kisses his cheek.

"There you go. I'm going back to bed."

"Thank you. Goodnight, Baby."

"Goodnight," she says still grinning as she walks back to her room.

Of course he has to give her behind on last look. He splashes the cold water on his face as soon as she closes the door. Jack, man, get a grip! There was always something about Janet though. Phillip, he thought, I hope you realize how lucky you are.
