A friendship that lasted six years was brought to an end…

Sniff.

"Luffy…you said you were going to be my friend forever…." A thirteen year old Nami whispered. She sat on her bed, hugging her knees. Tears rolled down her cheeks. "Suddenly saying that…"

"Let's end our friendship."

Nami grits her teeth before grabbing her pillow and raised it up while glaring a picture on her desk. It was a picture of her and Luffy eating dinner together. Nami was eating a mikan and Luffy was gobbling up all the meat on the table. Bellemere helped take that picture.

Nami was going to throw her pillow at it before hesitating. Slowly she set down the pillow back down on the bed before letting out sobs. 'Why? We've been friend for six years…!'

Outside the room was Bellemere with a worried look. "Nami! You okay in there?"

Nami flinched before hugging her knees tighter. "I-I'm okay! I'm trying to finish my homework! It's…really hard…to solve…"

Bellemere raised an eyebrow at the last part. "Alright…"

Nami could hear faint footsteps before silence came.

Nami bit her lip before her cell phone started to ring. Nami looked up and looked at her cell phone rung and vibrated on her desk near the picture. Slowly, she got out of bed and walked over to her desk. She grabbed her phone and opened it. "Hello…?"

"Nami."

"Hey Nojiko."

"I didn't see you in class after lunch…what happened?"

"…I was feeling a bit sick so Bellemere picked me up." Nami lied. She couldn't tell Nojiko the truth. Not yet, at least, She knew she would feel more pain if she had told her.

"You could've told me at least. Was worried sick! I even went to the infirmary to look for you!

"Hehe…sorry." Nami's eyes wandered to the picture.

"Hey, so did Luffy tell you about the news?"

Nami winced as she looked down. "What news?"

"Hm? He didn't tell you that he was moving to another school?"

"I'm moving. So I'm not coming back ever again."

"…he told me…" Nami's expressionless eyes wandered back to the picture. She then gently grabbed it and went over to the trash can.

"Hey Nojiko."

"Hmm? What?"

Nami lowered the picture.

"Can you do me a favor and…"

Nami let go of the picture.

"…not mention his name anymore?"
