Love, Roses, and Sunshine
It was a warm Saturday evening. Touko Hiroko, a fourteen-year-old Pokemon Trainer from Nuvema Town, was at a carnival in Opelucid City. She was sitting on a bench watching the setting sun. Then, she turned and saw a wonderful sight. N Harmonia, a male Trainer who was her age, offered her to go on the Trabant with him. The Trabant is a ride where you sit in a seat, cascading behind one another in a circle. The seats are set on a structure that looks like a roulette wheel laying face up on the ground. The structure spins and goes up in the air (and back down again) while moving around. Then the seats spin backwards.
Screams and cheers were heard from the Trabant as N and Touko's seat were spinning backwards. Touko put her hands up as they went around and around. N did the same. After the ride was done, Touko told N to go on the Zipper with her. The Zipper is like an oblong Ferris wheel, and the carts go upside-down. Touko and N raced towards the ride. They got in a cart, and put on their seat-belts. The ride started. As the carts were flipping upside-down, N and Touko were screaming and laughing. They both put their hands up. When the ride ended, N went to buy more tickets.
Touko and N went on many rides. They went on the SkyDiver, the Kamikaze, the Octopus, the Screamer, the Sizzler, the Gravitron, the Tornado, the Ring of Fire, the Tempest, the Crazy Mouse, the SPEED, the Tango, the Round-Up, and the Spin-Out. When they were walking around, they spotted a Tunnel of Love. They went in to ride.
When N and Touko got in their boat, they held hands. The ride started, and their boat passed by romantic imagery that N and Touko liked, causing the couple to cuddle. But suddenly, it all changed. The boat passed by scary imagery that N and Touko were frightened by, causing the couple to cling onto each other. Demons and monsters jumped out at them! They entered a terrifying clown's mouth…and then the imagery went back to romantic again, and on the other side of the clown was a heart-shaped gate. When the ride ended, Touko felt real love.
The last ride of the evening was the Ferris wheel. Touko and N got in a cart, and the ride started. "N, I…I love you so much…" Touko said as she stroked N's silky long, flowing green hair. N responded, "Me too." Touko touched N's hand. It's so warm… she thought as she rubbed her hand against N's. Then, N touched Touko's hand. Her heart beat faster. N reached into his pocket. "I have something for you…" he said. He gave her a red, delicate rose. Touko said, "Thanks!". She pricked her finger on one of the rose's thorns. She wiped the blood on N's arms. "N, I would be nothing at all without you." Touko watched as N took a rosebud from his pocket and put it in her hair. She wiped the remaining blood from her pricked finger on her and N's lips. "Lips as red as blood," she said. She wiped it off both of their lips. Then, Touko and N held hands. They came in closer. Their lips met and locked, and they kissed. They watched the beautiful golden sunset as the ride ended. When they got off and left the carnival, Touko thought she would die without N. So, she invited him to stay in Castelia City. He said yes, and Touko smiled. They both strolled down the street towards the sunset together.
