"I promise you, this will work" Jack said, one had resting on the wheel of the Black Pearl. He didn't look at Will nor Elizabeth. In his other hand he held his compass, which was open.

Above them the storm clouds brewed, and occasionally lightning would strike. But eerily there was no rain, not a single drop of moisture. That factor unsettled the other crew members, but not Jack. His eyes were fixed on the horizon, where the island that was their destination lay. The island was made almost entirely out of rocks. It wasn't a hoard for treasure, or anything at all like that. Why would it capture Jacks interest then? Only he knew.

"Jack, I really don't think this is a good idea!" Will yelled over the wind. It didn't seem that Jack had heard him, but after a minute he replied "She can hold a bit longer" he replied simply, his eyes glancing to the compass for a breif second.

Jack sat in the long boat, silent like the rest of his crew. They all actually thought he was a bit mad, but what for? Finally, they pulled up at the craggy rock island. Jack was one of the first to come out of the long boat. He hurried into the small conspicuous cave, flanked by the rest of his crew. As they walked deeper into the cave they became aware that they could still see, though the path had led them twisting and turning. An eerie gree light now filled the cave. it reflected off Jack's gold teeth, which were showing in his grin.

They came to a cavern, wide and open, the green lights source could now be seen. A shallow pool lay in the dead centre of the cavern. Jack laughed softly "Finally" he stated, walking down towards it. He smiled, the light reflecting off the three faces of Will, Elizabeth and Jack. "What is it?" Elizabeth asked, her face pulled into a frown. Jack glanced at her "Its mine" he said simply, reaching out to touch it. Will looked up "I don't think..."

He was cut off by a blinding flash, the three were tossed back. They became aware of a strange spinning sensation which was quickly overcome by darkness. Strange noises surrounded them as the consequenses took their toll.

Darkness ensued, time backtracked, refixing things into a different way, almost as if another dimension...
