Achieving

"So, how are you doing, Sanada? Ready to surrender to Ore-Sama?"

"S-Shut up, Atobe."

It was finally their match. Atobe vs. Sanada. Currently 4-0. Atobe leading.

It was unbearable. Atobe's Koori no Sekai was currently dominating the poor vice-captain of Rikkai. Sanada wanted to faint, to get away from this torture.

Atobe could only laugh at the poor boy.

"Really, Sanada? Is this the best you can do? I guess you're still lamenting in his defeat."

Sanada grinded his teeth. Atobe didn't need to say Yukimura's name. He already knows how he lost to that brat from Seigaku, Ryoma Echizen.

He wanted to punch Atobe. To kill him. For making that comment.

Sanada remembered all those times he had with Yukimura, when he was in the hospital, the nationals, and when they first met…

It was Sanada's first day at the tennis club. And he was wondering when he could play.

Suddenly, he saw an older man, panting on one of the courts.

And on the other side, a boy about his age.

He was a little shorter than him, had brown eyes, lighter skin, and wavy blue hair that was kept in a white headband. In his hand was a racket.

Sanada was shocked. How could that boy defeat the man so easily?

"How did you defeat him?" He managed to say. The boy turned to him.

"He was weak." He answered. "My name is Seiichi Yukimura."

"Genichiro Sanada." Sanada replied back.

Yukimura smiled at him. "Think this might be fun?"

"Yes."

At that moment, a realization suddenly dawned upon him.

He understood Ryoma's words now.

About how tennis was fun.

Sanada then said three simple words.

"Tennis… is… fun…"

Once Sanada said those words, a brightly glowing white light surrounded him. Keigo Atobe, the great, glorious, captain of Hyotei, felt his jaw drop.

"What in the world?" He said in complete shock.

Sanada was completely confused. The light was so familiar, but he couldn't figure out where he saw it before.

Then it hit him.

This is what happened when Ryoma beat Yukimura.

When he unlocked the Pinnacle of Perfection.

Sanada let out a small smile and repeated those five words Ryoma said:

"Is tennis… fun for you?"

Sanada then won, 6-4.

How Ryoma won against Yukimura.

Once news got out that Sanada unlocked the Pinnacle of Perfection, it was an uproar.

Rikkai was proud that their fukubuchou had beat Atobe and he was receiving recognition left and right.

In fact, Kunimitsu Tezuka came himself personally to a practice one day to congratulate him and Ryoma called him one day that he's coming all the way from America just to have a rematch with him.

Sanada felt proud of himself.

It was just after practice when Yukimura walked up to him.

"So, Sanada, how do you realized… how tennis was… fun?" He asked.

Sanada froze before he took a deep breath.

"I… remembered when we first met each other. How you thought tennis was going to be… fun." He answered.

Yukimura stared at him before smiling.

"Well, I'm glad you won against Atobe. And here's a congratulations gift for you…"

Before Sanada could even ask, he found Yukimura kissing him on his lips.

Sanada, of course, just kissed back.

Unlocking the Pinnacle of Perfection defiantly had it's rewards.
