"we are in so much trouble duncan " I said angry beacuse i promised i would be in by curfew. His blue eyes sparkled when he said " sarah how was I supposed to know that my watch would stop and besides it was your idea to go out like this .He also started to play with my hair and said" how I love your hair as dark as chocolate" trying to mmake me forgive himhe smiled . I've been going out with duncan since last spring when he asked me out after the big football win.
I been lost in thought when I heard duncan say "the prom is coming up and do you want to go with me." he said with the smile I loved.
"YES it'll be fun" I said sarcasticaly with a smile of my own . then as we were walking backhome he said "do you think our parents will ground us or kill us for staying out this late"
Then we got to my house and linda my parents horrible au pair's room light was off so I gave duncan a good night kiss and went lights were all off but as I went up to my room linda came out of it and started to sayfor the nevre of her "what time do you call this young lady Have been out with that boy again?" she gave me a smug smile and Ijust lost it and punched in the face without thinking and I boltecd into my room and locked the door. How could she insult duncan like that. I got ready for bed and went to sleep.
all hell broke loose the next day turns out i had given her a black eye and she had resigned this morning.I had to apologise to linda and got her to come back or no more dates
with duncan. How could you punch linda you know how highstrung she is we only got ungrounded from last time." said my sister michelle on the way to school. I saw duncan and told him what what had happend and he said "it wasn't fair she was always nasty to you we have to plan a revenge that won't get us broke up"
"First I have to get my parents and linda to let me go with you to the dance then after the dance we launch our revenge." I said hopeful for the outcome.
I had to soften linda up with complements and cookies then i said quietly "linda may I please go to the prom with duncan my parents said yes" okay I hadn't told my parents yet lin da was the piority.
"If you help me with michelle and your other siblings and then i mght consider it" she said with smug smile.

"This sucks" I said angrly to myself as I walked into the park.
then I heard a voice yell out "hey sarah" I turned around and my friends rachel,danny, ellie and claire were there. They had herad from duncan what had happened and wanted in on our revenge plans.
"I'll tell you the full plan after the dance and are you you still going?" I said glad my friends were here. they all said laughing "who could miss out on the biggest party of the school year."
The dance was going to beheld on 27th my 17th birthday was on the same day so we all decided to celebrate it by going out for a meal after the dance .
but that was when my life changed forever.
i got up as normal but i never heard my mum making breakfastn like she always does.I thought nothing of it but i should of .
