For the time being, I don't own Harry Potter. But! I'm going to buy it. On. EBAY.
I stood outside in the June sunshine, marveling at the fact that I had just completed my final N.E.W.T examination. It was over. Hogwarts was done. I watched as the Marauders came outside, with Lily Evans grinning and holding hands with James. It hurt my heart to see them together every time.
I watched as Remus opened a book, Peter and Sirius lounged around, talking, and Lily and James cuddled close together. I shouldn't watch her, but I can't take my eyes away from her fiery red hair and emerald eyes, even if they're looking at someone else.
My heart aches every time I see them kiss, and she smiles, a beautiful smile, when he talks to her. It hurts.
"Lily," I whisper as she and James shared a long kiss. I don't want them to be together. But I know it's not my place to disturb Lily's happiness.
Sometimes what I want, and what I want to do, are two completely different things.
A/N: Sooo…. Yeah. That kinda sucked. Sorry. My friend read it, and wanted me to publish…. So I did! (It's from Snape's perspective) And please Review!
