My Price
"Something wicked this way comes..." Gwen mumbled to herself. Heather was quickly approaching, but the goth girl was trying her best not to take notice.
Heather and Gwen's rivalry had been going on since the beginning of time. Heather would bully Gwen, Gwen would try not to retaliate, but end up getting her revenge anyway. Which would lead to a pissed off Heather and more arguing to come.
It was always the same thing. Over and over and over again. Never changing.
"So, after he asked me to dance-Oh, sorry Gwen." Heather fakely apologized. "I guess I didn't see you there." The bitch held a hand to her heart and pretended to be sorry. "I was just so wrapped up in my story about how I met Justin Bieber."
"You met Justine Bieber?" Gwen asked, gasping to make her sound interesting.
"Oh yeah, totally." Heather told her, smirking. "We danced all night." The bitchy teen flicked her long, raven hair over her shoulder, feeling so proud of herself.
"Too bad no body cares." Gwen smiled at her, flicking her short teal streaked hair, mimicking her sworn enemy. Heather narrowed her eyes at Gwen, flicking her own hair again and stomping off down the hallway, followed closely by her possy.
The Price that Heather's 'friends' paid, was to listen to her lies. Heather was full of them. She never really met Justin Bieber, or sat on his lap, or sang better than him, Well, that last one might have been true, since it wouldn't have taken a lot. But, with Heather, the tale comes first and the truth comes second. And that's the Price people had to pay.
"WATCH IT!" Courtney snapped at the Goth girl. Gwen had walked straight into her in the cafeteria, almost knocking her plate of pasta all over her. Almost. But the way Courtney was acting made it seem like she had. "GET AWAY FROM ME!"
The stuck-up bitch and Gwen also had history together. Ever since the first day of High school, the two had hated each other. It may have had something to do with Courtney believe Gwen was trying to steal her boyfriend, but who knew? Courtney was just a stuck-up bitch. That was the price Courtney's 'friends' had to pay. They were forver going to be stuck with her bitchy attitude and need to be in control, bossing everyone around. She comes first, everyone else comes second.
Gwen rolled her eyes, walking away from the ranting brunette. The last thing she needed was another argument that day. All everyone wanted to do was argue with each other. That was the price to pay for being a teenager. High school was a place to suffer through all your teen years, not making your life any easier for you. It sucked.
If there was something Gwen had noticed in school, it was that everyone had a price. There was always something that people had to give to receive something else. It was stupid in her opinion, but even she had a price.
Gwen's price was being a loser. She was an outsider looking in on the big picture. No one noticed that she was there most of the time. She was just the lonely Goth girl, no friends, no one at her side. She was Gwen. Just Gwen. That was if anyone could even remember who she was.
She didn't mind though, because Gwen knew that everyone had a price to pay for being who they wanted to be...
A/N:
Moral of the story is be who you want to be! It doesn't matter what others think of you, they're just looking for the price tag...
I've been working on this this for two weeks...How shit is it? VERY!
But I think it has a good meaning behind it...If you look carefully...It does...
Inspired by Price Tag by Jessie J. Thank you to my cousin for sending it to my phone for me and starting off this oneshot :)
