Tris's P.O.V.
I opened my eyes. I was in a white room with a white ceiling and white walls. I tried to move, but there were cables all around me. I looked around me and saw Zeke sitting in a chair. He was fast asleep. Then I heard a scream, and somebody engulfed my in a hug.
'Tris!' I turned around and saw Christina. She had tears in her eyes and was hugging me too tight.
'Can't… breathe…' I said. Or tried to, anyways.
'Oh, yeah… sorry… My bad.' She said, as she loosened her grip. 'I'm just so happy to see you.'
I frowned at her. Then I remembered the death serum and David shooting me… I looked down at my leg, where I had felt the bullet hitting me. There was a bandage, but it didn't hurt much.
'We thought you were dead' Christina whispered. I smiled at her and I hugged her. At that she settled eyes on Zeke, who was still sleeping.
'ZEKE. WAKE. UP!' She screamed. I laughed at the expression on Zeke's face. He looked at me and smiled. He stood up and hugged me. I hugged back.
'Hey! How comes you hug him back?' Christina asked. I laughed at her and sat up. My back hurt.
'How long have I been gone?' I asked. All my muscles were sore and I felt a headache from having moved too fast. I held my head with my hand.
'Two months.' Zeke said, looking down.
'What?!' I asked. It couldn't have had been that long, could it? Yes, it could.
'We begged them to not disconnect you. I had a feeling you were going to wake up someday.' Zeke said. Then something in my mind popped. My best friends were here, but...
'Where's Tobias?' I asked. They didn't answer. I shook Christina.
'Where is he?!' I got no answer. 'No...NO! NO!'
I stood up and went to the door. Zeke run after me and caught me as I fell to the floor.
'No...' And I blacked out from pain.
