A/N: Idea came to me when me and my mom were talking about boyfriends and whenever I married and have children, how I would handle fights.

Disclaimer: I don't own anything of Harry Potter.

Warnings/Info: Harry instead went to live with Sirius and Remus when his parents died. Sirius was found innocent and Peter Pettigrew is a wanted man. Remus and Sirius are married.

Summary: Remus and Sirius are fighting and Harry gives Sirius some advice.

"I just don't want you going on a mission where you could be killed, Padfoot!" yelled Remus. It was well past dinner time but the two had been fighting since Sirius had stepped into the door announcing that he had been offered a mission. The soup Remus had been preparing sat cold on the stove, long since forgotten. Harry was in the living room, playing with his toys while cartoons played on the television.

"And I'm just saying that I am a grown man, a skilled wizard, and can handle whatever Voldemort can throw at me," snapped Sirius. Sirius sat at the table while Remus stood near the stove. Although the dinner sat forgotten, Remus was still slamming cupboards and drawers in anger. It was better than the alternative. He'd left knives from chopping vegetables out and he could be throwing them at Sirius' face. Remus didn't respond but turned his back to Sirius. Sirius grumbled and got up from his chair. Remus went back to preparing dinner, hoping to save it from being terrible and didn't look up when Sirius went to the living room.

"Hey buddy," Sirius said to Harry, ruffling his godsons hair. "What'cha playing?" he asked, sitting next to the five year old. Harry was playing with a few Muggle toy cars and figurines. He was quiet as he sent a car crashing into the wall before looking up at his godfather.

"Cars," he said, grinning broadly. One of his front teeth was missing, having lost it a week previous at the park after falling off the monkey bars. Remus had gotten at Sirius for being careless and not watching Harry. Harry, however, had been ecstatic and loved that he could drink his juice boxes with the straw through the gap. "You can play the green one. He's the good guy but doesn't like the blue one cause she's mean to him," Harry said, setting said car in front of Sirius. The two played in silence for a good half hour before Harry spoke up. "Moony's mad at you," Harry said. It wasn't a question, just an observation.

Sirius shrugged a little and Harry looked at him. "When me and Ron fight, I say sorry. Then I give him my snack and let him play with my favorite toy and he isn't mad at me anymore," Harry said, referring to the red-headed boy that he had befriended at the Order. Ron was Arthur Weasley and Molly Weasley's youngest son who still clung to his mother's skirt. "Maybe you should give Moony some chocolate and then he won't be mad no more," Harry said happily, smiling at Sirius. Sirius laughed and kissed Harry's forehead.

"Well you and me can go get Moony some chocolate and you can pick out a stuffed animal for him tomorrow, kay?" Sirius suggested. Harry nodded eagerly and sent another car flying into the wall. This time it made a loud bang against the wall and Remus poked his head out of the kitchen door. He still looked mad but he wouldn't fight with Harry in the room.

"Harry, don't crash your toys into the wall. That's how they break. And go wash up for dinner, it's almost done," Remus said, putting on a smile. Harry smiled sheepishly and apologised before racing off for the bathroom. Sirius smiled and grabbed up one of the toy cars. Standing up, he strode over to Remus and grabbed his hand, putting the car in the palm of it. Remus gave him a puzzled look and Sirius laughed a little.

"Just following some advice Harry gave me, love," Sirius said before kissing Remus' cheek.
