Lily Evans woke up to another day at the best wizarding school in the world, Hogwarts

Lily Evans woke up to another day at the best wizarding school in the world, Hogwarts. It was mid October, and Lily was in her 6th year at the school. She made her way down to the common room, after getting ready for class. Her best friend Alice was waiting for her there.

"You took your time," she said when she saw Lily.

"Sorry, I had to sort out my hair; it was a right mess when I woke up. Shall we go get breakfast then?"

"I guess I'm not that hungry though."

"How can you not be hungry?"

"I don't know, I guess I've been thinking a lot lately."

"What about, Frank?" Alice suddenly went bright red, "I'll take that as a yes then." Lily concluded.

"Evans!" someone yelled coming down the boys' stairs. Lily knew exactly who it was.

"What do you want, Potter?" Lily asked as they dark haired tall boy entered the room.

"I thought I'd ask you out for the fist time of the day."

"And as always, I think I will say no." James Potter had been Lily's rival since first year. They had been feuding ever since they met. A lot more recently, James had begun to ask Lily out, and had made his feelings for her very clear, by asking her out at least five times, every day for the past year.

"Let's go, Alice," Lily and Alice left the common room, and headed towards the Great Hall to get breakfast.

"So, you still say you don't fancy him?"

"I don't," Lily said, beginning to blush.

"Oh yes, that's why you're going as red as a ripe tomato."

"I seriously don't, he's not even one of my friends."

"Right," Alice said in a sarcastic tone.

Elsewhere in the castle, James was talking to his best friend, Sirius Black.

"Seriously, Sirius," James let out a giggle, "I'm going to stop annoying her, she might be friendlier to me."

"Well, it's your idea Prongs, you know me, I think it's better to take on a full frontal attack."

"Oh, shut up Padfoot." They headed in the same direction that Lily and Alice had headed only seconds earlier, and didn't say anything more.

A/N so, what did you think, please tell. i don't know if i should continue it.
