So this is a Divergent short story about what happens at the first initiate training day, without the war(I might add), and this is where the kids fall into the net. Yatta yatta yatta. Yep, so here we go:
TRIS POV
I slowly walk to Chritina's room and bang on the door. There is no answer, so I pull out my spare key and open the door. I find Christina sprawled on her back, on the couch, asleep. I do what I know is best for me, scream her name and run.
She catches me when I reach the net and pushes me slightly, "Good thing you knew what was best" she grins at me.
A hand touches my shoulder and I look behind me to see a tall, darkly tanned guy. I hug him, but straighten up and whip the small smile off my face as someone falls into the net. I am supposed to be scary instructor Tris.
I got to reach my hand out, but Christina grabs the girl's hand and hugs her tightly. I see the black and white clad, and the tall build, but that is where they resemblance stops. I look at Christina.
"This is Peter's sister" she says. I automatically tense, "But she was closer to me then any of them" she finishes. I nod
"What's your name? Think and choose wisely" I ask
"Kathy" she confirms
The rest of the initiates jump. None stick in my mind.
"I am Uriah, this is Tris, Christina and Four!" Uriah calls, pointing at each one of us in turn. "Dauntless-born, go with Christina and Four, since you don't need a tour. The transfers can follow us"
We take them to the Pit, "This is the Pit. Stores are around here. But, so is the chasm. Don't be an idiot" I explain
A girl is flirting with Uriah and I have to clench my jaw to stop from launching at her. We agreed to keep our relationship a secret.
We show the transfers to the dormitory and leave them to settle in.
Zeke invites us into his house. I roll my eyes and go sit in the circle. He smiles as he closes the door.
"My house, so I go first" he chimes in to the muttering, "Tris, truth or...dare?" he adds
"Truth" I decide.
"Pansycake!" Uriah screams in my ear. I slap him in the face.
"Why did you and Four split up?" Zeke asks, innocently.
"We had a huge row." I say, glaring at him.
"About?" he adds
"He thi-thought he always had to be with me, protecting me" I answer.
I look around the circle and choose my victim wisely, "Uriah?" I ask
"Dare. I ain't no pansy-" he tries to finish his sentence, getting a fist to the jaw instead...two fists to be exact. Zeke and I both punched him.
"I dare you to...
How was it? Pretty bad, huh? Please review your thoughts! And, if you have ideas for any dares, just PM or review me please. I am bad at them, so yea.
