I wrote this when I was high on soda for a friend. Do enjoy the AU.
Hotels. Damn if Felix didn't hate them. On this particular trip the boarding school had arranged, he had to share a room with his friend Demetri and his kinda-friend Alec. Felix and Alec had called the beds way in advance, so Demetri snatched a pillow from Alec's bed and was using Felix's long coat for a blanket (it helped that Felix was about a foot taller) on the floor. At the sight, Felix frowned and said that he'd share, Demetri just shook his head and insisted he'd be fine.
"Last offer, 'Metri," said Felix, just about to comply to the teacher's command of lights out.
"I'm fine here, Felix," Demetri said from the floor.
There was a click, then the room fell into darkness.

Felix awoke to the balcony door sliding open. He sat up slowly, rubbing his dark eyes, and looked outside. Demetri was there silently, looking over the small city, black pajamas rustling in the slight breeze. He looked so calm and relaxed, what he wasn't during the day. Felix quietly slid out of his bed and made his way to the balcony.
"Sorry for waking you, Felix," Demetri apologized softly.
"Mmm, no problem, 'Metri," replied Felix groggily.
"You should go back to sleep," the shorter suggested, running a hand through his light brown hair.
"Not until you do."
"Then wait just a minute and watch the sky."
Felix complied and after a moment, meteors filled the starry landscape. Felix watched in awe, and Demetri had a small grin decorating his slim face. Felix thought it was over too soon.
"Alright, then, I'm going back in," Demetri said through a yawn.
Felix slid the door closed behind them, then caught Demetri's arm just before the smaller teen had a chance to lay back down on the floor.
"C'mon, you're sleeping on the bed."
"Then where will you sleep?"
"You're more tired than I thought, 'Metri. The other side of the bed."
"Honestly, I'm fine on the floor."
Felix raised a dark eyebrow and quickly picked Demetri off of the floor and put him on the bed. Before he could move, Felix threw a blanket over his head before sliding into the bed as well, slinging a strong arm across Demetri's slim waist so he couldn't get out. Will a small, fake huff, Demetri curled up to his chest.
"Good night, Felix."
"Night, small person."
Across the room, Alec suppressed a snicker.
If I ever post more Twilight with the Volturi, I shall warn you of a few thingsā¦
Demetri will be pretty hyper (blame his actor for getting that image in my head)
Jane and Alec are major background lurkers.
