"Well, I don't want that boring tune that Mom's song had. You know the 'strum. Strum. Strum. Wait for it! Strum. Yeah don't do that. Make it cooler and catchy, like something I could dance to, you know? And don't go on and on about me being perfect and stuff." But I don't want to disappoint Mom, "Maybe have a little bit of that cause like, tradition and all. I think my mom would really appreciate that."
"Great, but what do you want to say with your song? You're going to be the Queen of Mewni, this is your big introduction to the people! So, who is Princess Star Butterfly?"
"Weeell..." that was something she'd been sort of struggling with for a while. After losing Glossaryck and the Book of Spells, "Oh one time these monsters called me 'the rebel princess' and that was pretty cool."
"Monsters?"
"Oh yeah, I fight monsters like, all the time."
"Interesting."
And almost having to go back to Mewni from failing Baby's evaluation "Oh, I've been getting better at my spells. I've even got my own Spell Book."
"What about the Butterfly Family Book of Spells?" he asked, curious.
"Oh, well...I kind of lost it? Ok it wasn't lost, it was stolen."
"Stolen!?" he, nor the people of Mewni had heard this.
"Yeah, Ludo has like half of my old wand and took Glossaryck and the Book since, you know, they kind of go together... But don't tell anyone! My parents said they were going to take care of it, so nobody needs to know about it."
"Right, of course, the High Commission must be doing all they can."
"Yeeahhh they don't know either..."
"Then what are the king and queen doing?"
"Well-They..." Star paused, they hadn't told her their plan. Of course they were doing something, but what? And why hide it from the people of Mewni? "You know, I think I have a couple more ideas for that song." This won't be some puff piece.
