A message from beyond the grave

A message from a desprite father to a daughter who greaves in silence.

Don't Look Back In Anger.

It's been six months

To some it seems like yesterday

Others more like 6 years

Either way it's painful

Six months after the horrible attacks on America

Over 3000 people are gone, gone to the next room, there they wait patiently for us,

While they wait they whisper these comforting words;

Go on with life, live it to the fullest, laugh, smile, be you again

Do what you did before this, but now without me standing beside you able to touch you, hold you close or to comfort you in times of need

Do what you want, I'll never leave your side

Don't be angry with the ones who did this to me for it only brings you more grief and sarrow, forget them

Promise me you'll go on

Promise me you'll remember me

Promise

Don't look back in anger

We are the lost, the dead, the ones who now rest waiting to meet again, one day

We are the people of the United States of America, the people of the community

Listen to the words that the president had spoken, "United we stand, Divided we fall." For it is true, look around you, tell me what do you see,

You see people helping people

You see others comforting others in the time of great grief

These are the people who don't look back in anger

Shed the tears that you have kept back for so long, release it,

You must go on with your head held high, like the former Major of the great city New York

Be proud of being an American

Just promise me this,

Promise you Won't look back in anger.
