"Oh, you've got to be kidding me," Dean growled as the mummy climbed out of its ancient sarcophagus; the sickly-sweet smell of death and decay filled the air as it moved towards him.
"Hey Imohtep...how 'bout this for a friggin' curse," Dean screamed, firing salt-round after salt-round into the creature's linen-wrapped body.
But the long-dead Egyptian was too strong. It raised a trembling hand; used supernatural-force to send Dean crashing into nearby display cases, the shards of shattered glass lacerating his body.
Dean slipped a blood-soaked hand inside his shredded jacket and fumbled for his phone – he desperately needed Sammy.

A doleful moan engulfed him as Dean scrambled backwards, crunching across the shifting sea of shattered glass beneath him; blood-slicked fingertips slipping and stumbling across the keypad as he dialled Sam's number.
"Sam," he hissed; "get your nose out of European antiquities, an' get your ass up here, I need back-up; the freakin' exhibits are gettin' frisky."
Sam hesitated; "What?"
"Don't argue, I've just been laid out flat on my back by a freakin' mummy!"
"It wouldn't be the first time," Sam snorted.
Dropping the phone, Dean gagged on the putrescent stench as a desiccated hand tightened around his neck.

Sam shot up the slippery marble steps two at a time. All joking aside, Dean sounded in serious trouble.
He skidded to a halt, frozen in place by the sight of Dean's unconscious bloodied face reflected in a myriad glittering shards of glass. It took him another second to distinguish the real monster from the many mirrored images.
Then the mummy shook Dean's rag-doll-limp body and Sam was galvanised into action.
He smashed open the nearest case and grabbed the bronze spear displayed inside. Ignoring the alarms, Sam drew back his arm and let fly.
"Say hi to Anubis, prune-face!"
