Inspired by the song "The Lonely" by Christina Perri and me thinking of Ginny. Sorry about the cliché/ lame title.
Enjoy!

Hurting
Ginny was wandering around the castle seething and worrying. Well, it was more like seething because lately she'd always been worrying. She jumped when someone called her name. Ginny looked up to find Michael Corner running down the corridor towards her.
"Ginny!" he shouted again.
When he finally stopped in front of her she raised her eyebrows and asked, "What?"
"Well, I thought, that maybe you and I could go take a walk around the lake? I could ask the elves in the kitchen to make a picnic basket. I know it's not much of a date bu-"
Ginny cut him off startled. "Michael, why would you ask me on a date?"
"Well, uh, I thought that you might be a little stressed, what with this war and everything, that maybe you could use some relaxation and since you and Harry aren't-"
He was cut of again, "Harry and I aren't what?"
"Aren't together, so I thought that maybe you and I-"
"Where did you hear that we weren't together?" Ginny asked, halfway to fully pissed now.
"Well, the entire school kind of saw you two break up after Dumbledore's funeral last year," Michael said meekly.
"We are most definitely still together!" she shouted
"Really! Then where is he, where's his letters? Why'd he leave? What was it that he said to you that made you and him like not even speak to each other for the rest of the year?" he shouted right back.
"I don't need to tell you anything!" Ginny yelled. "Harry and I love each other!"
"He doesn't love you! The only reason he even fancied you was because he didn't like Cho anymore and you finally appeared uninterested in him! You all think Potter's like some god who can do no wrong and whose feelings are always pure and whole! Well guess what, he's human!"
With that Michael turned and strode away, he was almost to the Charms classroom when Ginny shot a Bat-Bogey hex at him then for extra measure, Stunned him.
She fled for he dormitory before the tears could spill over. That night she wept and was so full a doubt that for a moment she was seized with an uncontrollable desire to find an owl and send Harry a letter.
Ginny almost did, but just as she was about to go to the owlrey a sudden image took over her mind. It was of Harry being dragged along by some Death Eaters, her letter still clutched in his hand. She broke down again and climbed back into bed.
That night she had the strange feeling that someone was watching her. Ginny looked around the room to make sure. When she fell asleep her dream was of Harry. He seemed to be pouring over the Maraurders Map. When she moved closer to him she saw that his wand tip was hovered over one name in the Gryffindor Tower. Hers.
