Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.
Moonlight
It begins with the darkness, nothing but shadows.
Blackness envelops her body-her soul.
She can't see her hand in front of her face.
Her bright rosette locks, give away her location.
Something is breathing heavily down her neck.
Her emerald eyes cut through the darkness, panicked.
What is it?
She will never know.
And then, suddenly it's the quarter moon.
Light and dark clash together,
Fighting for dominance,
Who will win?
Soon the light takes over,
Now it's bright, and she can see once more.
But will that help? Will it save her?
Sometimes it is better not knowing.
What is in front of her?
A scream that no one will hear.
Nowhere to hide, no shelter there;
The light is almost blinding.
She wished for the light to save her,
Will the light be her end?
Something jumps in front of her, nothing but black.
It protects her.
Onyx is the color of her savior raven.
Once again to the shelter, it holds her.
It doesn't end with the light.
Back once more she will go to the hidden, to the darkness, her savior.
And although she is enveloped in its protection,
She's waiting for the light once again.
Will she ever learn?
Updated and fixed. Now it's error-free.
I feel successful, getting all this done, slowly moving from story to story.
See, I do things even when I'm not updating… which I should be.
Personally, I like this poem.
Alright, I'll stop ranting now.
Review!
