Hallway Encounter
A/N: You know what? I think for once in my life I don't really feel like talking. Weird. Well, I'll make this short and sweet. This is a one-shot during Twilight after Bella returns from Phoenix. I have no idea were this came from and I was...sleepy (I can't remember how you spell...tyerd? AHH!! Tired! HA! Thank God for spell check.) Anyhoo, this is exactly my best work ever, but oh well. Who am I trying to impress? Enjoy.
(Bella POV)
I sighed, a little irritated. "How much longer does he have in there?" I thought to myself. It was right before lunch and my Spanish teacher had let us out early. So, here I was, waiting for Edward's class to dismiss, just like he's done for me everyday since we started dating. But how did he stand it? I must have been waiting for ten minutes! Not only that, but there was another girl, waiting for the class to dismiss, who kept staring at me. It was making me self-conscious.
Finally, I started to get really irritated and decided to ask her what her problem was.
"Excuse me," I said, trying not to let any of the annoyance slip into my voice.
"W-what?" The girl sounded like I had just broken her out of some train of thought.
"Um, I was just wondering what you were staring at?" I tried to sound as polite as was possible.
"Oh, nothing," she said, but then changed her mind. "Actually, I was...wondering," she paused, then started again, "You're Bella Swan right? The girl who's going out with Edward Cullen?"
"Uh," I started, a little caught off guard by the strange question. "Yeah, I am."
"Oh,"
"Was that all you wanted to know?" I asked, arching an eyebrow.
"Well," The rest came out in a bit of a rush, "Well, I was just wondering. You know, Edward Cullen seems like the perfect boyfriend, but then there's always those guys who seem perfect, but really aren't. So I just wanted to know...is he? Perfect?"
"Well, I guess. Yeah, he's great," I said, smiling when I realized how lucky I was to have him and to be able to keep him...forever.
At that moment, before I could say anything else, the door to Edward's class opened and students started filing out. Of course, Edward was one of the first to come out. The crooked smile that I loved graced his face when he saw me leaning against the wall.
"Hello, love," he said in that velvety smooth voice of his.
"Hi," I replied, a little dazzled by his smile.
"What are you doing out of class so soon?" He asked, his face only inches away from mine.
"Teacher let us out early," Slowly, his lips were getting closer and closer to mine.
"Oh," he said, quietly before finally closing the space between our lips.
The second his lips touched mine, I didn't care if the girl was watching us or if anyone was. I probably wouldn't have noticed a meteor dropping from the sky. But, like usual, all to soon, he pulled away.
"Have I told you how absolutely beautiful you look today?" he asked, leaning his forehead against mine.
"You may have mentioned it once or twice," I replied, knowing this was his fourth time telling me today.
"Well, you look beautiful today, like always," he said sweetly.
I blushed, "Thanks."
He kissed me one more time before taking my hand and leading me to the cafeteria.

A/N: Teehee. I just called and woke Connie (I-really-do-bite) up. Lol. Her mom gave her the phone and said, "Connie wake up from your coma-like state." lol. Well, hope you liked the story. I'll try to get another chapter of "15 Things" out this week, but I make no promises. BYE! Happy New Year!~twilighters-anonymous.
