"The only thing that matters in this world is whatever drives you. Even if your faith in our cause wavers, hold onto whatever pieces you need to, and survive. No matter what."

Nicholas Helms is the older of the Helms twins. He isn't very strong, but through his studies, he learned that Brawns aren't the only thing that a fight hinges on. It takes knowledge, of an enemy's weaknesses, and strengths, to fight on par with the monsters that plague the world they live in. His biggest weakness is his reluctance to stand up for himself, which doesn't help when he and his sister get into trouble. His greatest strength is his observant nature, which can allow him to defuse bad situations pretty quickly.

"Somewhere, there will always be a family that needs help. There will always be a child who is too afraid to stand up for themselves. If we take these cases too seriously, and we try to help everyone, the only people who will be miserable are us."

Samantha Helms is the younger of the Helms Twins. She holds herself to a personal philosophy taught by her father- If your voice cant silence a room, let your fists speak for you. She believes that, when it comes to the monsters of Madrigal, brute force is all that she needs, though she does depend a bit too much on her brother, for his knowledge, instead of learning for herself. Her biggest weakness is her eagerness to fight, which is usually the cause of the trouble she and her sibling get into. Her greatest strength is her fist, and her dangerous aura, which causes fear in most humans, though can also trigger an aggressive reaction from the monsters of the world.

Terms to remember:

- Exterminator Potential (ExP) Unit: Used to measure one's overall strength and knowledge of combat, as well as their usefulness on the battlefield. In game example: a player's level is their ExP Potential, while their Unit also displays their progress towards their next level.

- Tag: Used in place of real names, on the battlefield, usually shorter than real names, though can also be a nickname assigned at the Vagrant School. Example: In place of their real names, players use nicknames in game, however since this is set as though Madrigal is a real place, They will still use their real names in town and when interacting outside of combat or "Party" situations
