I was writing a chapter for my Ghost Hunt story, and then...this happened. I realized I couldn't really put it in the story, but figured it'd be a good one-shot ^^' I hope you enjoy!

The car lapsed into a comfortable silent for the next couple minutes before Naru sighed. "Mai, when we get there I will need tea immediately."

Mai turned to face him. "Do you drink anything besides tea?"

"No," Lin answered immediately. Mai giggles and Naru glared at the back of Lin's head.

"I drink water," He defended himself.

"What about other drinks?" Mai asked him. "What about milk or soda?"

"I don't like either."

Mai frowned. "What about milkshakes?"

"I rarely drink them."

"Gatorade?" Naru shook his head.

"Never had it," Mai gaped.

"You've never had Gatorade? How?" Naru just shrugged. Mai thought for a second before digging around in her handbag. "Here!" She exclaimed proudly after a moment, pulling out a bottle of Cool Blue Gatorade. She thrust the bottle at him. "Drink it!"

Naru looked at the bottle. "No," He told her monotonously.

Mai narrowed her eyes. "Naru! Try it!"

"Mai! No," He retorted.

"But Naru!" Mai whined, still holding out the bottle. "You have to try new things. That's what everyone is taught when they're like four!"

"I'm sure the rule doesn't specifically apply to Gatorade, Mai," Naru told her, pushing the bottle back toward her.

Mai glared and uncapped the bottle. She shoved it back at him, causing the liquid to slosh dangerously close to the edge of the bottle.

"No. Stop waving that around, you're going to spill it," Naru warned her, shoving her hand lightly.

"Just drink it, then!"

"I'm not drinking it, Mai!" Just then, the car hit a bump in the road and the Gatorade spilled over onto Naru's leg. "Mai!" Naru growled.

"That wasn't my fault!" Mai said with a giggle. He glared at her harder. "I'm sorry!" She laughed in a way that suggested she wasn't sorry in the slightest.

Naru looked torn for a second. Finally, he snatched the bottle from her. In an unexpected display of childishness, he poured a bit of it onto her legs. She shrieked in surprise.

"I didn't spill that much!" She stole the bottle back and splashed it onto his shirt, creating a large wet spot over his chest. Naru repayed her in kind.

This continued for a while until the bottle was empty and Lin was laughing so hard in the front seat that he struggled to drive a straight line.

Eventually the van came to a safe stop in the client's long driveway. The rest of the team had already arrived. The man who hired them walked out upon seeing them drive up.

"I'm so glad you're finally...here..." He trailed off as Mai and Naru climbed out of the van. They were both soaked through. Naru looked calm and neutral, as if nothing odd had happened, while Mai wore a look of embarrassment.

Naru walked forward and nodded at the man, his face in his usual mask. He ignored the looks everyone gave him. "Thank you for inviting us. If you could direct my team to our base, I think my assistant and myself should find a shower."

The client nodded slowly. Naru nodded once more and walked off with Mai following behind him.

There was a silence. Monk was the one to break it. "Everyone saw that, right?"
