I saw one of these, and decided to do one. My other story (Shake It Up, Break It Up) will continue when it does, as usual. I just wanted a change of pace. So to start, here's 10 things you may not know about Caterina Valentine. R & R please :)

1) Cat's favorite bands are Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and The Stooges.
She actually listens mostly to punk and classic rock. Other favorites of hers are Tom Petty and The Rolling Stones. She was for a time actually quite rebellious. Which brings us to number two.
2) Cat didn't dye her hair because of red velvet cupcakes.
Though her favorite food did inspire the color choice, the decision to dye her hair red was an extension of her rebellion from her strict parents. Why doesn't she seem rebellious anymore?
3) Cat's "dumb" personality is entirely an act.
The same night she dyed her hair (with Jade's help), her 8 year old brother had an accident. He was riding his tricycle down the hill near their home when he hit a rock and flipped, landing on his head. He had serious brain damage and will never recover. When she found out what had happened, she realized that she needed to be easier to deal with for her parents sake, and, using her spectacular acting skills, created a new personality. She isn't always talking of her little brother, though.
4) Cat has two brothers.
Cat's younger brother has brain damage. Her older brother has a Ritalin addiction, and is out of control when high. She doesn't say much of her older brother, and only Jade and Robbie know that she has two siblings.
5) Cat's best friend has always been Jade West.
Even after Tori Vega began attending Hollywood Arts, Jade has remained Cat's best friend. Only she knows about Cat's fake personality, and they get a kick out of Jade pretending to not stand Cat's happiness and bubbly personality (which she totally wouldn't if it was real).
6) Cat plays drums.
Cat and Jade listen to music almost every day together, be it over the phone or otherwise. Cat was inspired by the drums that John Bonham (of Led Zeppelin) and Keith Moon (of The Who) played on many classic songs. When she learned that she had to play an instrument at Hollywood Arts, she knew exactly what to choose.
7) Cat wants to play in a band.
Cat loves to sing, and has an amazing voice, but she doesn't want to be the center of attention. All of her favorite music has been created by bands, not by individual singers or musicians.
8) Cat has mixed feelings about Tori.
Cat gets along with Tori extremely well, and she likes her even outside of her fake personality, but she believes that Jade truly hates Tori, and doesn't want to hurt her best friend.
9) Cat is afraid to go back to her old personality.
Cat feels relatively accepted by the people at Hollywood Arts, even though some dislike her because of her "stupidity." Even though the odd is normal at HA, Cat feels a girl like the old her won't be as accepted, mostly because of how people treat Jade.
10) Cat isn't truly interested in a relationship.
She does, in fact, have slight feelings for Robbie, though she tries to convince herself that she doesn't, because their friendship is too important to her. All of her previous relationships (Danny, Tug, etc.) have ended in pain, and she's convinced herself that dating at this age will always end badly for her.
