Clothing: Black shirt with eagle imprinted on it, Black shorts with grey on the side and orange in the middle, black eye glasses

My name is Dane Young, and this is my story. I had a normal life, going to school, having dinner with my family and all that other stuff. Unfortunately, I don't really have a lot of friends. and I feel particularly lonely at school. The only real close friend I have is this girl named Claire. But... a couple of weeks ago, she... she disappeared. So, I've felt empty inside for a while.

Well, I don't want to bore you with my backstory, so I'll just start the story. My adventure began rather recently. It's actually very interesting, and I think you might enjoy it.

The sun shined on a bright sunny morning along the East Coast of Australia. Among it's citizens was the 15 year old, Dane Young and his family. The rays of the sun shined brightly through the curtains. Dane slowly opened his eyes from the light, and blinked his eyes a few times to regain his sight.

"Ugh, is it morning already?" grumbled Dane.

He sat up on his bed, yawning a little in the process. He then stood up, grabbed his glasses off of his desk, and put them on. He could now see clearly with his glasses.

He then opened his chest of drawers and pulled out some fresh clothes to put on for the day. He then headed out of his bedroom and towards the bathroom. Dane searched for a hairbrush, before noticing that it had fallen onto the floor. He picked it up, brushed it off, and proceeded to fix up his hair. After Dane finished fixing up his hair, he placed the hairbrush on the counter and looked in the mirror to check himself out in case he missed a spot.

"Hehe. All right, I'm ready to start the day." he said to himself

He then walked back to his bedroom. Dane decided to look at a photo that he and his 'girlfriend' Claire had taken before she disappeared. He began to feel morose while staring at the picture.

"*sigh* I hope you're okay" he thought

Suddenly, a bright light appears in his room. Dane was briefly blinded, but when he regained his sight he noticed that the bright light was none other than...a portal?

"What the hell?!" exclaimed Dane

The portal was beginning to suck Dane in. He grabbed onto the far end of his bed, not wanting to get sucked in.

"Gah! HELP!" yelled Dane

Unfortunately, Dane couldn't hold on to his bed much longer. He lost his grip and got sucked in the portal

"AAAAAAAAAHHHH" he screamed

The portal then vanished into thin air, leaving only an echo of Dane's screams. His father came into his room in a panic.

"Dane, are you all ri-" he said, before noticing that Dane was gone. He was horrified to see his son was gone.

"What happened?!" called Dane's mother, rushing up the stairs.

"Dane... he's... he's gone." said Dane's father, sadly.

"What?" asked Dane's mother, panicked

"He's gone. I heard him screaming in his room. But when I went in, ...he was gone" explained Dane's father

The mother became horrified and teary eyed, and got everyone in the house and told them what had happened to their son and brother. All members of the family were saddened that Dane, the youngest in the family, was gone.

Unknowingly, Dane was falling from the sky at high speed. From a distance, it looked like a meteorite falling from the sky

Dane was unconscious during his fall. Which meant he's not aware of where he is. Then, finally, he finally landed in a bush with a giant "KABOOM" that sent shockwaves over the place

Dane woke up almost immediately after colliding with the ground. Unfortunately, that fall had hurt him to a certain degree. He struggled his way out of the bush, breathing heavily.

Dane looked up at the sky and saw a trail coming from the sky, and ending at the bush where Dane had landed.

"HOW THE HECK DID I SURVIVE A FALL LIKE THAT?!" he yelled

He looked around and realized that it didn't look like his home at all. Nothing around this place was familiar to him at all. There were no cars, no powerlines, no concrete roads. However, he did notice a dirt road leading to what he thought was the nearest town.

"I hope I can get some help." said Dane, in a bit of pain

He proceeded to walk along the dirt road. Unfortunately, he hobbled all the way. Most of the pain came from his back and left leg. He was breathing unnaturally from the pain. Just up ahead, he noticed a red barn with a purple roof up ahead. Dane thought that someone may be inside that premises. He then proceeded to head over to the barn

"Please, let there be someone there to help me." he said to himself.

Dane eventually made it to the front side of the barn. He walked up to the open doors of the barn, and looked around the place, hoping that someone may be inside. There was no one he could see in his sight

"Hello? Is anyone in here?" he called, hoping to get an answer.

Sadly, there was no answer. Dane sighed in disappointment and turned around to continue along the dirt road until he heard a voice behind him

"What the hay?" it said, in a country accent. Dane became startled and stopped where he was. He turned his head around to see if it was the owner, but it was something else that made Dane's eyes widen

It was actually a pony, it's coat colour was brilliant Amber Yellow, it's mane was a very light amber yellow, and it was wearing... a cowboy hat. Dane walked backwards toward the path, scared at the sight, and ran as fast as he could, trying to ignore the pain in the process?

'What the heck did I just see, a pony with a cowboy's hat? I think I'm going crazy' he thought

He continued running until he saw what he thought was the town. But what he saw at the town made his eyes widen in shock. He saw that the town wasn't populated by humans, but by coloured ponies. Some were pink, some were blue, and some were white. Dane held his head, trying to process what he was seeing. But the pain from his fall was too much for him, and he collapsed onto the ground. He fell unconscious in the process.

But in the sky, a flying Pegasus who's coat was pale cyan, and it's mane was the colours of the rainbow, was busy flying around the town, apparently showing off it's skills. But then, it noticed the unconscious human out of the corner of it's eye. It turned its head to where the human was.

"Hey, what is that thing?" it wondered. It then flew down to where the unconscious human was. It did a close inspection on the human, not knowing what the heck he was. It then noticed some injuries on the human's body. It gasped at what it saw, and then flew into what was supposedly a house, which was actually a tree.

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

That was all he could hear. Just the sound of beeping. Dane had been sleeping like a statue, and didn't move an inch. Then a sound came from outside. He then slowly opened his eyes, rubbed them and saw a white tiled ceiling from up above. Dane became confused as he looked around at the items in the room.

'Am I in a hospital? What happened?' he thought. It then popped up in his head, remembering what had exactly happened before he collapsed.

"Oh right" he said.

Then, the door to the room he was resting in opened. Dane glanced at the door wondering who was coming, it was a white pony which had a pink mane, and a red cross on it and was wearing a nurses hat. Dane started sweating a little bit. These ponies were unnatural and uncommon in his world, so what he say was completely new to him. The pony went up to Dane and approached his bed

"How are you feeling?" it asked.

Dane's eyes widened with shock and gasped. Did that pony just speak?

"Y-you can talk?" asked Dane, while breathing heavily. The pony tilted it's head sideways, unaware of him knowing that ponies don't talk

"Of course I can talk, everypony in this town can talk" it answered, in a pretty unsure tone. "You're not from here aren't you?"

"Um..." paused Dane "I don't think so. Where am I, anyway?

"You're at the Ponyville Hospital" answered the pony. "You were found unconscious outside of town. So, you brought here by a local pony to recover"

"Ponyville, huh?" said Dane. He had never heard of Ponyville in his life.

"Well then,... no. No I'm from here." he continued, answering the nurses question

The pony then placed one of it's hooves on it chins. All of this information was new to it

"Hmm. That's very interesting" it said "If you don't mind me asking, but... what are you?"

It had obviously had never seen Dane's kind before, so he managed to regain his sanity and answer her question

"H-...human. We're called humans." he answered

"Humans, huh? This is all new to me" she said in reply.

Then, out of nowhere, there was then a knock on the door. The nurse walked up to the door and opened it. Dane thought it may have been a doctor.

"Oh Twilight, here you are, he just woke up but he still needs rest, so don't be too long" she said to someone.

'Twilight? Who's Twilight?' he thought.

The nurse then went out of the room, but before properly leaving, he had to say something to Dane.

"I'll be gone for a while, somepony has come to visit you, so don't leave your room" it said

"OK" responded Dane, while nodding

He then saw a purple pony with a horn on it's head walk in. A unicorn to be precise. It had a unique hairstyle that humans would sometimes have. It's mane was dark blue with purple stripes and a pink strip. Riding on it was creature that looked like a dragon, it was a purple scale and green spiked dragon.

"Whoa. Is that a unicorn and... a dragon? That is so cool!" he thought. He was in awe at his sight. Knowing that dragons existed in this place amazed Dane

The pony with the dragon riding it walked over to the bedside and observed Dane.

"Um... hi?" said Dane, unsure of how to start the conversation

"Hello. I'm Twilight Sparkle, and this is my friend Spike" the unicorn said "One of my friends saw you unconscious and rushed you here" she said

Dane was surprised at what the pony said. So, a friend of hers had brought him to the hospital. That would probably explain why she was visiting him.

"Um, well... do you think maybe you can tell me where I am right now? Coz I am completely lost." asked Dane

"You're in Equestria, this place is a land that's full of magic and is populated by ponies and dragons" answered the little dragon named Spike

"It's also co-ruled by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna" added Twilight "Right now, you're in Ponyville"

Dane then lied back on the bed stunned. It had now become apparent to him. He wasn't in Australia anymore. More importantly, he wasn't in his own world anymore.

"Oh man. I thought this would have been a dream, but I was wrong" Dane said

He then turned his head, and looked out the window, thinking what would happen back at his home, how his family would feel. He then saw Twilight and Spike leaving

"Oh, are you two heading off?" he asked

"Oh yes. Sorry, but me and Spike have to go home, don't worry, I'll be back with my friends tomorrow, Bye" she answered

"See ya bro" said Spike before he left, Dane laughed a little at Spike, that voice reminded him of someone, but he couldn't remember who.

Dane then rested his head on the hospital bed and slowly drifted off to sleep

And that's how my adventure began. A portal that had opened up in my room took me to another world. I didn't know it then, but my life had changed forever.

EDIT: I changed the name of the story because it just seemed kinda bland and boring, I was also able to give this chapter a name, but seriously if you are not a fan of Human in Equestria fanfics, don't review this or I will see you as an ungrateful troll, and remember "BRONIES RULE!"
