Everyone is standing around Maya's terminal, Ritsuko leaning over to stare at the screen. Misato is standing behind her, fiddling with a beer can.
Ritsuko: Ok, call up the first five test results for Unit 01.
Click. Click. Click. Click. Click.
Misato screws the beer can up in her hand.
Ritsuko: Next five...
Click. Click. Click. Click. Click.
Ritsuko is now sweating.
Ritsuko: One at a time now. Next...
Click.
Behind them Shinji is pacing, wringing his hands.
Ritsuko: Next...
Click
Auska is biting her nails.
Ritsuko: Next...
Click.
Rei is reading a Gundam Wing Manga for tips.
Ritsuko: Ne-next...
Click.
Mistato is shaking like a leaf in a hurricane.
Ritsuko: N...N...Next!
Click.
Maya's hands are trembling against the keyboard. Ritsuko leans in closer to the screen.
Ritsuko: N...N...NEXT!
Click.............BEEP!
Click.............BEEP!
Ritsuko: We...We did it! We did it!
She grabs Misato's hands and begins to spin her around.
Ritsuko: {Singing} We did it! We did it!
Phone rings and Ritsuko answers it.
Gendo: Well?
Ritsuko: We did it! We have the answer!
Gendo: {With infinite patience wearing thin} Well?
Ritsuko: {Giggles like an insane manic}
Gendo: Sigh. Well?
Ritsuko: Fifteen! The little bar at the bottom of Windows 2000 can hold 15 files!
Everyone cheers. Shinji and Auska hug. Rei jumps on them both. Gendo can be heard cheering on the other end of the phone.
Gendo: Wahoo! I win! Major Katsuragi!?
Misato is the only one not cheering.
Misato: Yes?
Gendo: You owe me ten bucks! Hehehehehehehehehe!!
