It was two days before Easter and the last thing Neal Caffery wanted to do was FBI white collar crime work. He knew it had to be done, but did it have to get done now? Not really it was mostly pointless things nothing earth shattering, luckily Neal knew his partner Peter felt the same way.
"Peter did you make a basket for Matt yet?" He asked about Peter and Elizabeth's five year old son, Matt whose name Neal is always quick to remind he suggested.
"Yeah we got most of it, I just have to go to the store to get some action figure for him and we'll be all set." He replied.
"Well why don't we do it now, I'm sure this can wait, besides I some shopping to do myself." He said hopefully because he was really bored and loved all holidays.
"I don't know I think we better-" Peter started to turn down the idea, but Neal stood up and put his hat on.
"Oh come on Peter it's two days before Easter, most people took the day off anyways." He grinned at his partner.
"Fine, only because I don't know how popular that action figure is and I don't want a repeat of last Christmas." He laughed as they left the building.

On Easter Sunday Neal got up around seven o'clock in the morning and went to the Burke's house baskets in hand. Before he rang the doorbell he hid eggs around their front yard.
"Caffery what are you doing here?" Peter asked answering the door, not fully awake yet. Little Matt was already running down the stairs.
"IT'S EASTER!!" He exclaimed.
"Hey buddy." Neal greeted laughing.
"Uncle Neal look what the Easter bunny brought me!" Matt said holding up the action figure zooming it around.
"Matt I think there are some eggs that the Easter bunny left for you to find outside." Neal pointed to the front yard.
"Neal we didn't hide any eggs." Peter whispered.
"Look Daddy." Matt said already holding a couple of plastic eggs.
"Oh Neal you didn't have to do all of this." Elizabeth grinned coming out of the kitchen.
Neal shrugged "What's Easter without an Easter egg hunt." He laughed; he then took out a pair of rabbit ears and put them on. "Would like a pair Peter?" He asked knowing the answer.
"No thanks, Caffery you look like an idiot." He said jokingly.
"Oh come on you're supposed to be Peter Cottontail." He replied. "I bet Matt will wear one with me, won't you Matt?" He said to the boy who had a basket full of eggs.
"Yep." The kid said taking a pair of rabbit ears and putting them on. Neal then handed him the Easter basket filled with candy and a little fedora. Yeah Neal loved the holidays.
