Just so you'll know: my Ninja Turtles stories will take place in a shared universe with characters from the original Mirage Studios comics, the 80s cartoon, Archie Comics, the movies, the Next Mutation, and the 2003 cartoon.
Remember Turtles Forever, when the Utrom Shredder nearly destroyed the multiverse? Well, I'm using that to justify the revisiting. Not only was the entire multiverse saved (by Bebop & Rocksteady, no less), but a new universe was created as a result which has elements from most parallel universes. I will use the 2003 cartoon as the baseline. Some concepts will be altered and some characters' histories will be changed to fit with the new continuity and be consistent.
This new universe has its own parallel dimensions, divergent timelines, etc. Meaning this continuity has its own Dimension X, Battle Nexus, the Usagi Yojimbo universe, the Super Turtles universe, and the dark future from the 2003 cartoon episode "Same As It Never Was".
The title Ultimate TMNT is the title of the original idea of a reboot from Playmates toys before coming up with Back to the Sewers.
