Prolouge:
I fidgeted with the hem of my blue junior high skrit as I waited for an answer.
I was standing under a large oak tree as i heard that small two-letter word that would change my life forever.
"No."
My mind blanked.
What was about 15 seconds felt like one as I tried to find the words to respond.
My mind was in over-drive, I felt like I was blabbing on and on, listing reasons as to why he should change his mind. I felt like I was talking toofast for anyone to understand, and I probably was. I felt as if everyone in school was watching me. Laughing at me. I felt as though I had made a mistake. A HUGE mistake.
I looked up to see his face. Blank. Meaningless. Like a computer screen with the cord unplugged.
He sighed and I swore I could see a bit of guilt in his eyes.
My throat began to tighten.
I tried to speak as I saw him turn around and walk away.
I was crying.
"Sasuke," was all I could I managed to breathe out.
