The road lay quiet and alone, the only sound being the wind blowing leaves through the air. Trees surrounded it on both sides. The leaves rustled silently. The sky slowly began to darken. The world stood still.
A small movement disturbed the pause. A dark mouse scurried onto the trail, pausing to look at it's surroundings. Then it flicked it's tail.
As if beckoned, a shadow, small and quick, leapt down to join the mouse, which chirped in greeting. Nimbly she spun around, a dark yukata (summer kimono) twirling behind. Hesitating only long enough for the mouse to climb up onto her shoulder, the girl began gracefully racing over the path, her identity hidden by the rising shadows of night.
...Well, I hope you liked this rather... short... intro. I'd like people to tell me if they think anything's off from the Naruto world... constructive criticism, and all that. No flames, though, please... if you send me any, I've got a fire extinguisher... pats fire extinguisher sitting on computer desk
