Warnings: Spoilers. I don't remember the episode, so forgive me.
Rating: K.
Pairing: Yamada/Mayama; one-sided Nomiya/Yamada.
Words: 240.
Disclaimer: I don't own Honey and Clover.
Notes: The feelings of Nomiya-san for Yamada, the second night they spend together. Also, please let me know if the grammar is wrong or the text is weird to read.
He never had the chance to tell what he was really feeling, and before he knew it, it was no longer important to tell other people. He did as he pleased, and no one ever told him not to. Nomiya felt free or at least something pretty similar to it. He never happened to fall in love, either. Many friends had told him that he was one lucky guy. Others, like Yamazaki, wondered if that was actually "luck".
And then she appeared, with an unrequited love, a bunch of tears and a lot of pain.
Yelling out Mayama's name while she was crying, made him feel strange. Like nothing he had felt before, if he had actually been feeling something. She was for real. She was deeply in love with a guy who couldn't love her, but cared and was kind to her. To him, that was way more painful than a "normal" unrequited love, 'cause she was unable to forget him completely, always waiting. But there she was, calling him, loving him, in front of his eyes. This girl wasn't paying attention to anything but Mayama, plus he was being used...
He had never fallen in love before, so Nomiya couldn't name the feeling that bloom into him that night. So he confused it for embarrassment, even thought his heart pound every time she called out Mayama's name in her sleep.
Thanks for reading.
