Yeah, I know it's a few weeks late, but I'm a slow writer, so deal with it. To clarify things, Danny and friends are older now, and Danny and Sam have been dating for a while now.

Danny looked over at Sam. She was glaring at the students walking by with a "pinch me and you die" kind of expression. She had purposely left the green out of her look today, instead wearing her other usual colors of black and purple. She did this every St. Patrick's Day. Even though she was, in fact, part Irish, she refused to wear green. She said it was stupid to be proud of her Irish heritage only one day out of every year.

She hadn't seen him yet, so Danny snuck up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. Leaning over, he whispered in her ear, "Even though I know you don't celebrate, happy St. Patrick's day."

"Thank you." Sam smiled up at him and then leaned back into his embrace. "C'mon," she took his hand and began pulling him down the hallway, "We'll be late for class."

….

School passed quickly that day. The Lunch Lady made an appearance at lunch, but was taken care of quickly by Danny. After school found Sam and Tucker over at Danny's house working on homework. After making their way through their history and English homework, Tucker's mom called and said something about pot roast. Needless to say, Tucker didn't stick around very long after that.

When it came time for Sam to leave, Danny decided to walk her home. When they got to her block, they had to part ways, as Sam's parents still didn't like seeing their only daughter hanging around such a "bad influence".

Sam turned and trudged upstairs, opening her door and throwing her backpack on her bed.

"Ow." Danny was startled into visibility as Sam's backpack hit him in the stomach.

"Danny! I thought you went home."

"I started to, but then I remembered that I forgot to give you your kiss."

"Danny, what are you talking about? You've already kissed me today."

"Yeah but I didn't give you your St. Patrick's Day kiss." Upon seeing Sam's confused expression, Danny elaborated with, "You know, the 'Kiss me, I'm Irish' thing?"

"Don't you dare." Sam began to back up at the mischievous look in Danny's eyes. "I mean it."

Danny however, had other ideas. He walked quickly over to Sam and bent down to place a passionate kiss on Sam's lips. They broke off after a few moments. While Sam was trying to catch her breath, Danny placed a series of kisses down her neck that left Sam even more breathless than before.

"You Liar! I knew you had green on today!" Danny shouted while grinning triumphantly.

"What are you talking about?" Sam questioned, rather surprised at Danny's outburst.

For an answer Danny took the strap of Sam's tank top and nudged it over a bit, revealing the green bra strap underneath. He then disappeared, laughing at the crimson blush that had spread over Sam's face.

"I'll get you for this Fenton! Don't you dare tell anyone!" Sam shouted after him.

She felt cool air around her shoulders before she heard the whisper, "Don't worry Sam, your secret's safe with me."

Danny left after that, leaving Sam to her mutterings about "stupid, St. Patrick's Day loving halfas."
