I'd like to say, I have written a fair few fics, but I haven't uploaded them, not really sure why but from now on i shall try to write more often fics i'll upload. It had been a tiring day for James as he made his way up to the head boy and girl's dormitory, which he shared with Lily Evans, head girl. The girl he loved and longed for, just to be his own, to hold in his arms. But she just kept breaking his heart and was often trying to hex him.
As James opened the door to his room he noticed a small piece of paper folded neatly and placed upon his pillow. He knew instantly it would be from Lily as she was the only person to have access to his room other than the teachers and house elves. At this, James dropped the Quidditch gear he was carrying from practice and rushed over to read it. He cautiously picked it up and examined it for hexes, just in case, and found it to be safe. This confused him slightly making him wonder if it was actually Lily who sent it, so opened it eagerly and read it slowly, being sure to take in every word.
Dear James,
I don't really know how to put this; you're an idiot, who's immature, childish and always pulling some stupid prank. You bully one of my best friends. You're arrogant and selfish. You think everyone loves you, as you're that big headed. You don't even understand the word 'no' showing just how brainless you are!
But with that said, you're also one to never give up, and are trustworthy and can sometimes be sweet when you want to be. You've changed this year, you really have.
I can't believe I'm about to say this, but, you've grown on me. Deep down I guess I knew all along but it's only now that I know for sure.

James folded the letter back up carefully and placed it back on his pillow. He had the biggest smile on his face as he turned around and saw her standing there in the doorway
"I love you James Potter," Lily said as she walked towards him holding her arms out so James could pull her into a loving embrace. He lifted her head up gently and kissed her lips softly, and for the first time she hadn't tried to hex him after.
"I love you too, Lily"
