This wasn't our actual version of the commercial. I added a few more details.
Sonic was a little old man with a bad case of ear hair.
One day, Sonic decided to take a walk in the city park since the weather was so nice. He was just walking along, minding his own business when Knuckles walked up to him.
"Ew, gross!" Knuckles insulted as he cringed a little. "You have ear hair! Get outta here, old man!" Knuckles gave Sonic a shove, and Sonic, head down, walked away very sadly.
"*sigh*" Sonic sighed, sadly. "I wish I didn't have so much ear hair. Then people would love me." He started making his way back to his house to go lie in his bed and think about how 'old and hairy' he is.
Suddenly, a white hedgehog with quills pointing in every which way you could imagine jumped out of nowhere. He was wearing sunglasses and was pretty ecstatic.
"Yo! Wuzzup, Big Blue?" He somewhat rudely greeted. "Names Silva! Silva da Hedgehawg!"
"Big Blue." Sonic echoed. "Rouge used to call me that. She had a major crush on me, but that was before I got all this ear hair."
"Anyways, I gotta great solution to ya' ear hair problem!"
"Stop acting like that, Silver." Sonic quietly commanded.
"Look," Silver took off his shades. "Do you wanna lose the ear hair or not?"
"Of course!" Sonic cheerfully answered.
"That's the spirit!" Silver praised. He reached behind his back and pulled out a green toothpaste-looking tube out of thin air. "Try some of THIS!" Silver handed Sonic the green tube.
"Hmm." Sonic examined. "Flupper."
"Yup yup yup!" Silver confirmed. "Just rub the gel in your ear, and within a mater of seconds, all that ear hair of yours will dissolve out of existence!"
"Huh." Sonic opened the tube and squirted some of the gel onto both his hands. The gel was neon orange colored. Green bottle, and orange gel. Sonic thought. Not the color scheme you see everyday.
Without hesitation, Sonic rubbed the gel deep into both of his ears.
His ear hair dissolved out of existence in a matter of seconds just as Silver had said.
"Ah!" Sonic happily exclaimed. "My ear hair's gone! Yippee!" The blue hedgehog jumped around for a while as if the Flupper had also made him young again.
"That's right!" Silver told him. "Hey, look!" Silver grabbed Sonic's left shoulder, and spun him around 180 degrees so Sonic could see what Silver was pointing at.
"Hey!" Knuckles noticed. "Your ear hair is gone!"
"How'd you dispose of it so quickly?" Tails asked.
"Hey, Big Blue." Rouge flirtatiously flirted. "You're sexy again. Wanna go out?"
"Paws off, sister!" Amy hissed. "He's mine!" Amy swung her mallet at Rouge, but it missed."
"Wanna go, Pinkie?" Rouge got into a fighting stance, ready to do battle with the pink hedgehog.
The ran off brawling.
"It's all thanks to Flupper!" Sonic cheerfully told everyone.
"You're cool now!" Knuckles commented. "Let's go hang out." Knuckles and Tails put their arms around Sonic's shoulders, and Team Sonic walked off to go hang out.
Silver, still nearby, faced the camera. "Flupper." Silver described. "Lose your ear hair, gain your happiness! Now available at your favorite store! Which is probably Walgreens!"
"*ding* *ding*" Silver's teeth and thumbs-up sparkled.
Yeah, pretty different.
