"Suicide is a permanent solution for a temporary problem. You are so very beautiful, and so is life. You have so much to live for. Someone will miss you. Stay." Paige Carter

Anyone who has ever met Jamie King would describe her as, fun, happy, cheerful, and friendly. But anyone who has met her doesn't know who she really is. So I'll tell you about the real Jamie, and why she's who she is.

Five year old Jamie came running down the stairs when she heard her mother's scream. The Kings had been a wonderful, loving family, but a sudden change in Stanley King's changed everything.

Jamie ran into the kitchen where her mother and father was. "Mommy?"

"Jamie…" Alanna said.

"Jamie just go play with your toys in your room. " Stanley interrupted. She looked at her mom, who nodded. Jamie left the room, hesitantly.

"And don't came down until I say so!" He called. Jamie sat in her room listening to her mother's muffled screams and her father's yelling, until she heard the front door slam. She slowly and quickly walked down the stairs and back to the kitchen. The sight before was something no five year old should see. Her mother lay dead on the floor. Her stomach was cut open, and blood was everywhere. Suddenly a cold voice whispered in Jamie's ear.

"Tell anyone and you'll have the same fate. Understand?" Jamie didn't answer. "Am I understood?" He grabbed her short auburn hair and threw her to the opposite wall.

"Y-yes," she cried. Stanley continued to beat her.

Eight years later

Jamie was bullied at school, and thay didn't help the fact that she was abused at home. She walked with her friends, Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Grover Underwood, Juniper Green, Hazel Levesque and Leo Valdez. The school bully, Clarisse La Rue, pushed her into the lockers.

"What the heck, Clarisse!" Percy said.

Jamie smiled. "It's okay, Percy. I'm fine. Let it go." They all looked at her like she was crazy. They sat down at their usual lunch table.

"Clarisse bullies you everyday, yet you're always happy. Why is that?" Juniper asked. Jamie shrugged, not wanting to tell them what goes on at her house. When she got home Stanley King would beat her until she passed out. She'd wake covered in bruises and cuts.

This continued, until she had a emotional breakdown in class.

Jamie was sitting in her seat middle of the back row, when Clarisse came in with her gang. They walked right up to her, and started calling her names and beating her. Tears rolled down Jamie's bruised covered face. Jamie King had finally broke. She stood up and ran out of the school, down the street to the abandoned house she went to get away from everything. She didn't know that Percy and Annabeth had followed her until she heard them call her name. But she ignored them. She went to a small table and open the droor, reveling a small pistol. Percy knew exactly what she was thinking.

"Jamie! Jamie, don't do it. This is not you. You wouldn't do this. Think about it."

"You don't know me. I have thought about this." She replied pointing the gun to her head. "I'm just one big mistake. My life sucks. No one understands, " she added barely audible.

Tears till falling from her dark depressed green eyes. She pulled the trigger. Her limp body dropped to the ground, and blood oozed everywhere. She was gone, and she was the only one who knew why.

Jamie King was no more.

Hey, so I somehow brought myself into a dark, depressed mood. (I'm a moody person) I thought I'd write down what I was thinking. Please tell me what you think about it. Thank you.

Au revoir!
