Murtagh returns to Eragon and Arya with Thorn, but when Galbatorix finds a way to control Murtagh from the inside, how will the boy fight against him. Story much better than summary, promise... Maybe a hint of Arya/Eragon,but no pairing apart from that.

Ch.1 I'm back!

Eragon's POV

Arya and I lay under the stars watching Saphira and Fírnen circle in the sky above our heads. A red streak through the stars made me sit up in wonder. I squinted at the dark night, trying to figure out what the sudden colour had been. Eragon, there's someone here, a familiar presence. Saphira's voice rang through my brain. I got up and tilted my head back, trying to see more, Arya stood up, "What is it Eragon?"

"Nothing, its fine…"

"Are you sure?"

I was about to reply when a loud thud made me spin round in surprise, a male voice projected to my mind Huh, just as jumpy as ever Eragon "Thorn!" My brother slid off Thorn and walked forward, "Murtagh!"

"Eragon!" He ran forward and engulfed me in a hug. Aww, they're so cute Thorn quickly tried to mask his slip of masculinity I mean, ahem, good to see you again

Hahaha, oh it's ok Thorn, we know you're a big softy really. Saphira teased, making Thorn turn away in embarrassment. I stood looking at Murtagh, before I said the question no one else wanted to ask "Not to be mean but, what are you doing here?
