Perfection

It started with a pencil, a sheet of paper and a smile.

To her, that smile was more magical than making feathers float with two words and a wooden stick ever could be.

She'd spent more time in her life drawing than she'd spent sleeping but the day they first met was the first time one of her drawings had that special something that made people stare for hours.

It must have been something about the magic in the air, the excitement and anticipation and that smile he'd thrown her way that made her take out her sketch book and a pencil and draw that smile.

It came out looking nothing like reality and yet utterly perfect.
