A/N: I am surprised that no one has done a one-shot of Stan thru the whole 'Not What He Seems' episode so I thought I would do one while I'm putting off updating my other story. I personally blame plot bunnies and their scheming ways. Any who, ON TO THE DISCLAIMER!

I've Got to be There for This
I've got to be there for this.
That's the only thing running through my mind right now. I finally ditched those guys in black, and now I'm running down the street to get back to the Shack. 30 years have past since that fateful day and I thought I lost everything. Taking care of Dipper and Mabel this summer has brought a lot of memories for me. They remind me so much of us when we were that age, I think to myself as I run, ducking and dodging the people around me.
"Say Stan," said Toby, "Do you have a quote for the weird stuff going-"
"NOT NOW TOBY!," I shout at Toby while pushing him out of the way.
I have to be their for this, I think to myself as I glance down at my wrist and see the clock ticking down, If I don't get there soon enough, then I will never forgive myself for it.
Thinking back on all the good times we had growing up together. The trips to the beach, the boxing lessons, and Fighting over the chance to drive the El Diablo. Remembering the times we had with each other gives me the power to run faster and faster, till I arrive at the shack and give myself a second to breath.
Please…, I think to myself with hope in my thoughts, Stanley…Please be okay.
And with that last thought I push myself in the Shack to finally be reunited with my brother after all this time.
