A girl screamed, trying to get away from a boy who was standing in front of her
"Stop!" her scream echoed threw the room
But the boy brought down his fist and it collided with her head
She yelled in pain and tried crawling away
"Why?!" blood was trickling down her face and mixing with her tears "I thought you loved me"
The boy hesitated, hurt by her words "I do love you"
She looked up at him, her eyes drifting to his scar that encircled his eye. She was hurt and confused, Why is he doing this?
They stared at one another. Katara started to feel dizzy, she felt blood and tears trickling down her cheek and onto the floor.
"Why are you hurting me/" she whispered it but he was able to hear it
"I want to be with you forever," he said. He brought back his foot and kicked her in the stomach
She screamed in pain. I'm going to die. I'm going to die. I trusted you Zuko- I loved you.
Zuko bent down and took her bloody face in his hand and tilted it up.
She winced at the pain, but it was slowly disappearing- death was overtaking her.
He brought his lips to hers and kissed her, she couldn't do anything she was so weak. "I love you Katara," he watched her eyes slowly close and her breathing stop. Her body went limp and she started to fall but he caught her in his arms.
"I want to be with you forever," he took out a large knife and was about to stab himself but he whispered out one more word, "forever."
Zuko stabbed himself in the heart. His blood started to flow onto katara and he took his last breath, then his body fell limp- like Katara's just did.
If anyone was to walk in they would find the Fire Lord and his wife dead. Fire Lord Zuko would be holding his wife-to-be, Katara, in his hands, as he hunched over her. The knife lay right beside his hand.
Some say it was romantic, Some say it was Evil and Some say it was both.
He wanted to be with his love forever
So he killed her and himself, so they would be together for eternity, in one another's arms.
Ever since that day, the tragic love story was told to the children. Only when five years had passed an elder man was telling the story to a group of kids. When he finished the story he added another additional detail that not many people knew.
"The sad part of the whole story was that the Lady Katara never told Fire Lord Zuko that he was going to be," Iroh looked at the children, "a daddy."

Sooo what did you guys think? A little sad, I know. But he did it because he wanted to be with his love forever- He was crazy In love I guess I would say, To bad he didn't know he had his first child on the way- love stories sometimes don't always work out. And yes that is zuko's uncle Iroh. Hate it? Love it? Hate me for writing it? Ha ha well review. REVIEW!
