Prompt #225 (Title) The Key
Chic smiled softly as he handed the box over to Kevin.
"What is this?" Kevin smiled up into Chic's eyes as he leaned against his boyfriend. "I didn't get you anything."
"Relax Kev. This is just a gift that I want to give to you. You don't have to get me anything back." Chic sighed. "It's a gift that I want to give to you because I want to present this idea of my in this fashion."
Kevin's turned back to the box. He carefully lifted the top off and looked down. "It's a key." He breathed out.
"Yeah." Chic husked. "I want you to have a key to my apartment. I want you to feel like you can come here anytime you want. Without me being here." He rested his head on his boyfriend's shoulder. "Only Betty and Polly have a key here."
Kevin stared at the key as he knew the full meaning of what Chic Cooper was offering. The trust Chic was giving him. "Thank you Chic." He whispered as he snuggled against his boyfriend of six months.
