"So why are you so up tight about this?" Veronica sighed as she looked at the red head across from her. "You have had one night stands before right?" She took a sip of her wine.
A rosey blush played on the cheeks of the woman sitting with her eyes down casted.
"So I was your first." Veronica's right eye brow rose. She set the glass back on the table. "There isn't anything wrong in what we did Josie."
Joise's eyes lifted. "Actually there is." She swallowed. "Not only have I never had a one night stand before ... but I never even had sex before."
"Oh." Veronica sighed. "Well for your first time ... you knew what you were doing." She smirked. "Damn you knew what you were doing."
Warmth filled the red headed. "Sucks thanks."
Veronia winked. "I personally wouldn't mind having another round." She relaxed back in her chair.
"I thought you were in love with Betty." Josie frowned in concern.
Veronica tightened up.
"S-sorry." Josie whispered.
"Betty made her choice." Veronica spoke in a tired voice. "I'm not it."
Josie worried her bottom lip. "Seeing how Betty and Archie are enganged ... did you decide to bed me because you couldn't bed Archie any longer."
Veronica softened. "No Jos. No. I wouldn't do that you." She leaned foward resting her arms in front of her; just outside of the white plate. "I wouldn't use you ..."
"Not even because you can't have Betty?" Josie sighed. "Look Ronnie; you are broken hearted because Betty doesn't return your love for her. That she has chosen another to be married too; to start a family with; to grow old with." Gentles shown in her eyes. "I don't mind that my first time is with someone whom soul belongs to another."
