Their wedding ceremony was beautiful and was nothing short of moving.
However, it moved much too quick for both Kate and Rick who had wanted to treasure their ceremony moment by moment.
It wasn't long before and they had recited their vows and the minister first asked Kate, "Do you Katherine Beckett take Richard Castle to be your lawful wedded husband, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad times, for richer for poorer and to forsake all others until death do you part?"
"I do," said Kate gently squeezing Rick's hand.
The minister then asked Rick the same question.
"Do you Richard Castle take Katherine Beckett to be your lawful wedded wife, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad times, for richer for poorer, and to forsake all others until death do you part?"
Smiling and gently squeezing Kate's hand Rick responded, "I do."
One cue both Lanie and Montgomery stepped forward giving the wedding bands to the priest. The priest blessed them and said to Kate, "Katherine please take this ring and as you place it on Richard's finger please repeat after me, "With this ring I thee wed."
Kate took the ring and slowly slid it on to Richard's finger and said, "With this ring I thee wed."
"Richard please take this ring and as you place it on Katherine's finger please repeat after me, "With this ring I thee wed."
Rick got the ring and as he steadily slid it onto Kate's finger said, "With this ring I thee wed."
"Katherine and Richard have shown their commitment to love each other through the words they have spoken today. By the power vested in me in the state of New York, I pronounce you husband and wife. Rick you may kiss your bride."
Rick wasted no time in pulling Kate in and had her arms wrap around him and placing his hands on Kate's supple waist and pulled her in for a lengthy kiss.
As they kissed the guests awed and clapped and continued after they pulled apart.
The minister said, "May I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Castle."
