"Well, aren't you gonna go down and bend at knee." said Fiona, her eyes wide with expectation as she lookes at Michael.

Michael chuckled at Fiona's demand.

"We're late Fiona." he said, pulling out the ring from the little velvet box.

Fiona frowned.

He slowly held the hand that Fiona had offered in to his. He looked up at Fiona before slipping the ring on, his eyes swim in to hers.

He then very gently pushed the ring in to her index finger.

"There...now we're married." he said in sarcasm as Fiona raised her hand to her eyes to get a good look at the ring.

Fiona looked beautiful Michael thought. He regretted not complimenting her when she asked him how she looked. Red was his favourite colour on Fiona.

Fiona finally put her hand away and purred,

"You're not gonna kiss the bride?"

"Not the bride."

He wraps his arms around her and gradually pulled her close. Their noses were practically touching.

Fiona could see right in to his eyes, she could feel the warmth of his skin.

"The girl who cost me my good shirt." His lips brushed against the corner of her mouth.

"The girl who owes me a new one."

"It was an ugly shirt anyway." Fiona declared , staring down at Michael's lips that were inly an inch away from hers.

"Right...the same shirt you'd wear to bed every night."

"Liar-" Fiona begins to say, but his mouth is now firmly on hers and she can't speak at all.

The kiss lasted an eternity, it was passionate and they didn't pull away for any air.

Michael's hands slide down from her waist to her buttocks and similarly, Fiona's arms tighten around his neck. They didn't kiss like this often. But today was special, because they were now 'married'.

At last they drew away from each other. Both of them breathing hard.

Fiona braced her hands on his chest and smiles up at him.

Michael finally questions, "This covers the reconnecting you wanted right?"

Fiona immediately pulls her hands away and rolls her eyes and shook her head in disappointment.

"And i thought you were finally being romantic for once." She complained, her hand on her hips.

"Common Fi-" Michael begins to say but Fiona cuts him off.

"You said this was going to be a romantic getaway!"

"And what was that two minuets ago ,Fi!"

"Agh- you are impossible." she sighed. "Just save it for later, we're late." She walked to the couch, grabbed her clutch and headed out the door.

Michael threw his head bach and took a deep sigh as she did. He eventually followed her out...

Being married isn't easy...Michael thought.
