In The Dark
Walking into my darkened apartment I don't even bother turning on the light. Emily just felt her way around her apartment by touch alone; because the darkness of her lonely apartment fit Emily's current mood and that mood was none other than sadness. Making her way to be bedroom and collapsing on her bed Emily closed her eyes as the days events flashed behind her closed eyes and mind. Emily desperately tried to make sense of what Assistant Chief Linda Barnes said it made absolutely no sense to Emily whatsoever; but what could she do she tried to stand her ground and defend herself and her team. But it was no use Barnes removed her from active duty so now her BAU team is on their own to figure this huge mess out.
Now Emily understood how much stress Hotch felt when he was the BAU Chief when he had to go through something like this; but Emily knew what she was getting into when Hotch picked her to be the new BAU Chief over JJ. She also felt bad for putting JJ in such a terrible position on such short notice but Emily knew the team didn't blame her for this. This wasn't Emily's fault this all happened so suddenly nobody was expecting this and; besides what Rossi said earlier when this whole mess was over the drinks were going to be on her no questions asked.
