Prompt #18 {Location} Sisters of Quiet Mercy

"I'm going to get you out of here." Veronica husked out as she looked into the dead eyes of the blond sitting across from her. She reached out to rest her hands on the sides of Betty's face; "I promise you B. I will get you out of here."

A slight smirk played on Betty's lips. "My mother has finally won. She managed to lock me away before my eighteeth birthday ... she knows that in order for me to fight this after my eigtheeth birthday then I would have a long drawn out courtroom battle ... where I have to prove that I'm fully able to run my own life." Angry tears sparkled in her sea of blue green eyes. "You have to hand it to Mama Alice ... she knows when to pound in the last nail in a coffin." Her harsh low laugh came out broken.

Veronica's heart broke.
