Stay With Me Always

A/N: This is my first fanfic so any criticism would be much welcomed :
I know this is really short, but if I went on any longer, I'd have to reveal the other team, and that's another chapter in itself. I promise you though; it's a surprise worth waiting for.
Ritsuka tried to sit up but immediately fell back down.
"Ritsuka!!" Soubi screamed desperately.
Coughing on his own blood, "Just… focus…" was all the young boy managed to get out before drifting out of consciousness.
Filled with determination, Soubi turned back to the team. The rain was beginning to pour down from the sky and he used this as inspiration for his next spell.
Rain of steel, like needles, pierce the opponents' skin. Cut straight to the bone. Restrain, and allow no defense.
Immediately, the rain started flying towards the pair at a remarkable speed, piercing them to the core. Restraints came down from the sky and bound themselves to the two, issuing a yelp from the fighter. The sacrifice's scream was like a shard of glass- painful and sharp. The sacrifice fell to the ground followed by the fighter.
I banish you back to where you came from.
The battle was over. The team was gone, leaving Soubi to gingerly carry Ritsuka back to his apartment. This was not an easy task given the thick sheet of rain now blinding his vision and the dark cloak of night so close it was nearly suffocating him. Nevertheless, they managed to make it back safely. Soubi laid Ritsuka down in his bed and went to get the first-aid kit. Upon his arrival, he found a partially-conscious Ritsuka groggily looking about.
"You're awake! Oh thank god!" Soubi exulted.
"Soubi…" Ritsuka breathed like a dream come true before drifting off again.
When he awoke, he saw Soubi just finishing up the last bandage. As he turned to leave, Ritsuka clung desperately to him; grasping his shirt so hard his knuckles turned white. Surprised, Soubi turned back and saw tears streaming down the little boy's cheeks.
"Soubi, don't leave me. Please. Stay with me."
"Always," Soubi returned.
The blonde-haired man bent down and crawled into bed, Ritsuka's hands still holding on tightly, and enveloped the boy in a hug. He laid there cradling him, stroking his soft, raven hair all the while.
"I love you, Ritsuka."
He embraced Ritsuka in a passionate kiss. Their lips danced a sweet lullaby.
"I love you too, Soubi."
There they stayed all night, drowning in each other's arms until sleep welcomed them into the morning.
What did you think? I was listening to the song Only When I Lose Myself by Depeche Mode when I wrote this. The song doesn't quite make sense with it yet, but come next chapter, it'll be like its own lil theme song! Insert girlish squeal here
