Tony's POV
I was speechless. Kate had been shot by, most likely, Ari. My face was covered with her blood but incredibly enough she was still breathing.
"That's my girl. Always so tough." I told her.
I took her to the ER while Probie and the boss went back to the NCIS building to tell the rest what had happened. Kate was barely breathing by the time we got there but I wasn't ready to lose her. Not yet. Doctors and nurses took her in a rush to the OR. All I could do now was wait.
Kate's POV
I felt my entire body on fire
"Great, I've been shot." I thought.
I couldnt see much but I was able to see Tony's shocked and worried expression.
"God. I love this man. Wonder why I never told him how I felt." "If I get out of this I'll come clean."
It was a promise.
Tony took me to the hospital and once there he started shouting calling for somebody. The last thing I heard was that the surgeons were ready to procede.
Tony's POV
I'm officially going crazy. Surgery is taking way too long. I need to see her! I need to tell her she drives me crazy. I have to tell her I'm madly in love with her.

Tony's POV
Kate was still in the OR and several nurses had advised me to have some rest. I decided to do so, after all I have to look good when I see her.
I arrived at my apartment and immediately realised something was off. Suddenly I was being dragged out of the building and thrown into the a car's trunk.
Ari.
The ride lasted what seemed to be forever and when he finally stopped I knew I wasnt coming out this alive.
Kate's POV
I could hear an annoying sound somewhere near me. That's when I realised I was out of the OR and the annoying sound was the machine controlling my vitals. I couldnt wait to see Tony and just thinking about him made me smile but then, I felt someone was watching me.
"Tony?"
"Guess again."
My body froze. But then he talked again and I wished he hadnt.
"Sorry Caitlin. Tony's dead." Ari said
So I let myself die.
