"Five by Five and livin' large….ok I lied it's new years day and instead of joinin' in with all the partyin' B and what's left of the watchers council has me chasin' after some mini slayer who loves in some big ass city called Metropolis- worst part is I couldn't even say no…well I could of but I prefer not being in prison."

I pulled up on my motorbike, ok Spikes motorbike, outside a house surrounded by lots of farmland. I know not normally my kinda scene…."

I approached a farmhouse in the town of Smallville and knocked on the door waiting for an answer.

'Nice place' I muttered to myself as I leaned against the post waiting for someone to answer the damn door

'yeah?' Someone says and I turn to see a well toned guy dressed casually in jeans a T-shirt, his hair black and messy. Maybe this place won't be so dull after all….

'I'm looking for Lois Lane, heard she lived here' I said as I looked the guy up and down, feeling a smirk creep across my face but I kinda got the feeling he felt a little uncomfortable.

'Someone asking for me Clark?' I hear another voice and my smirk softens into a smile as I realize its Lois.

'Hey L' I say as my smile turns back into a smirk and I see her walking to the front door, a bounce in her step as she stops and stands next to Clark, there bodies touching.

Great…back to dull.

'Faith...wow...Never thought I'd see you here...In Smallville anyway' Lois laughs but I can still tell she's completely shocked. But I guess anyone would be- I mean c'mon, it's me. I shock everyone with everything. She moves slightly away from Clark.

'so what brings you here? Last time I heard you were in Sunnydale fighting vamps and ultimate evil and stuff' She starts asking as she sticks her hands in her back pockets and my eyes flash towards Clark who looks completely unbothered at hearing words like "vamps" and "ultimate evil".

Lois looks at Clark and she kisses him passionately, I almost get the feeling that she knows what I was smirking about earlier….

'Clark can you like go?' She asks as she jerks her thumb towards the kitchen

'Nice meeting you Faith' he says to me and leaves as Lois watches, she turns back around to face me as she leans on the doorframe

'Why are you here? Why come to Smallville? To me?' Lois glares at me.

'Look L I just need like a place to stay for a week or two, I got business in metropolis….slayer business' I say not wanting to tell her to much to soon.

Lois stares at me and for a moment I thought she was gonna slam the door on me but she stands aside and leads me inside.

'Only for a week, two at the most...and you better be willing to do chores around here, you're not getting off free Faith'

'Cheers L and sure I'll do work' I say and smile 'as long as it isn't cooking or cleaning'
