A/N: I don't own anything. CasKett future song fic inspired by the beautiful song, "Ma Belle Evangeline" by Jim Cumming. Fluffy one-shot.

Look how she lights up the sky

Ma belle Evangeline

So far above me yet I

Know her heart belongs to only me

Rick Castle got speechless the first time he held her in his arms. She's the most beautiful thing in the world as he looked into those tiny little face. He spoke to himself, "Nothing in the world is ever going to hurt you,".

Her head full of thick dark brown hair, her eyes stared at him showing the big blue ones just like his. But she's all her mother anyway, right down to the button nose and pouty lips. She's been remained 'Lady Bug', the name Rick had given the baby ever since they found out Kate was having a girl. They haven't really found the perfect name for their little one.

Rick came to his sleeping wife, with their child snuggled close to him. He stroked Kate's long brunette locks with his other hand and leaned closer,

"Time to wake up, Mommy." Rick whispered to his beautiful wife. She looked tired, no wonder being 12 hours in labor.

"Hi, honey." Kate smiled weakly as she looked at her husband, holding a pink bundle in his arms.

"Look who I found, Kate," Rick took a seat behind his wife, gave their daughter to her mom.

"Oh, she's so beautiful Rick. And she has your eyes," Kate stroked the baby's rosy-cheeks with her fingers.

"Yes, she is. Perfect just like her mom." Rick smiled giving his famous ruggedly-handsome smile. "That means i'm not going to let Buggie leave my sight until she's thirty." He continued with grin.

Kate chuckled while rolling her eyes, "Yeah, right. Good luck with that, just wait until she hits her teens."

Rick got the horrified look in his face, "Oh please, don't remind me that. Been there with Alexis."

The detective giggled. She knew how he always got so worried about his first daughter, Alexis when she was a teenager and being an over-protective dad few years ago. Actually that's one of the few reasons why she loved this man and hoping to have 'little Castle babies' with him. He's going to be a great dad to their children.

"Well, what about the name? We still haven't decided yet and we can't just keep calling her 'Lady Bug' or 'Buggie' for her entire life," Kate joked. Rick nodded, "hmm.. You got that right. What about Lilly?"

Kate shook her head, "Ugh, no."

"Kylie?"

"No."

"Jessica?"

"No way!"

"Helen?"

"No."

"Georgina?"

"Yuck!"

Rick laughed at his wife. "You're so picky, honey,"

"I'm not picky, i just want her name to be perfect and none of them you've said fit best with her." She explained. He nodded in agreement. Suddenly he turned his attention to the radio outside their room down the hall playing the song by Jim Cumming.

So still, so bright

To someone as beautiful as she

"Evangeline." Rick stated. Kate got the confused look on her face.

"What?"

"Evangeline. What do you think?" he waited for his wife to respond.

Kate got silent for a moment, looking at her daughter's face. "I love it. It's perfect." They both smiled. "What do you think, Evangeline?" Rick whispered to the baby, whom giving her first little smirk on her face. Rick kissed Evangeline's forehead, "That's my girl."

"Evangeline Johanna Castle." Kate announced before she captured her husband's lips.

Love is beautiful
